Here is the rough fantasy idea. If you all haven't guessed by now I don't give up easy when it comes to coming up with something new.
I love video games and The Lost Regiment Series...
What if two large mustash Italian plumers jumped to another fantasy world (with a van/truck filled with takeout, plumping supplies, and tools...etc). There you will find a kingdom with no real heroes...and invasion of evil creatures about to occur.
Crepitus (think giant bug creatures), Boarmen (think humiod boar headed war pigs) and Hobgoblins have formed and only holy alliance to wipe out the human kindgoms (more details on those later).
My thinking is that this is a little like Star Wars Galaxies in that players can build workshops and even factories. As your fame grows warriors and peasants will join your cause.
Since this is kinda of a crazy fantasy world you can produce anything from broadswords and shields to pellet firing assault rifles and fuse bombs. Though like most video games you can always buy an unlimited amount of supplies (remeber those shops road side..potions, swords, armor). Of coarse there are always swords and other equipment just laying around.
Things will start with the players arriving at a small village on the frontier. This the game for the thinking warrior and the hackers and slashers.
So give me some input people...tell me what you think, want, and feel free to post a character. More players more adventures.
