Only one pending work?

Okay, so I have two works I submitted, one is pending, the other is still in drafts. Do I have to wait till the one goes published till I can submit the other?

I sometimes have more than one work in pending, so I assume that's possible.

No. You can submit as many stories at the same time as you like. They all go into the queue.

Every indication is that you haven't gotten it submitted yet. Did you push the submit button after previewing it? If it's in drafts still, it has not been submitted.

Also be aware that there are lots of people submitting stories everyday. From what I can tell the admins here do use a lot of scripts to help manage the load, but our stories still need to pass through the admin team which can take time.

I've had stories published within two days and another story took almost ten days. When you hit submit for publishing just be aware that you sometimes need to wait to see a result, however once you have hit submit your story will be in the 'Pending' tab of your works console.

My latest submission took two weeks. Contests take priority with the admins, so I was expecting the delay.

Apologies if this is off topic, but 14 of my 15 submissions have taken 2 days, plus two days on all the ones that I had to revise. But I did my third submission at the same time as my second, knowing that chapter 1 was boring without chapter 2. But chapter 2 took 10 days to get through! I can't help but think that the two submissions at the same time had something to do with that.
