Online munch?

i haven't been part of this forum for very long, but it occurred to me today how much i have been made to feel part of a community here.

i don't live in a big city, and although i understand there is a local munch within a few tens of miles of me, somehow that doesn't feel very local to me. Being new to all this, the thought of travelling to a town i don't know to meet people i don't know to discuss a subject i still feel quite nervous of doesn't exactly thrill me!

In the last week or so other members of this site have welcomed me in, given me some of the information i seek, and been happy for me to join in with their discussions. i have learnt a huge amount in a very short time, and have met some really lovely, if somewhat filthy minded, people. i cannot tell you how many times i have typed something, clicked return, and then laughed at the thought of saying that in the local coffee shop with my friends!

i am sure i am not alone in looking to this site for support, so i wanted to say thank you to
all of those who are helping me on my journey - and long may it continue! x
