Ive been to a few and they were always a drag......I was hugely disappointed.

I've only been to one, and it was really a blast. I was single back then, though, so there was a bit more freedom.

People actually acted the way they acted online - women took off their shirts and stole each other's bras and stuff. Obviously, the guys enjoyed that part.

I dunno....Ive been to two chat parties at a club....I was single, and just disappointed in the crowd....I was single and hoping to meet someone I was attracted too and totally did not.....it also seemed like a drunk fest....like who could drink the most and act stoopid.

Ive met two girls from online not at a chat party.....I married one of them....I met my wife on a yahoo personal ad.

I've never been to a get together and I suppose part of that is due to where I live. lol

But I doubt very seriously I'd ever go to one. I'm too shy and I'd probably feel totally out of place.


To date I have only met one person from online, and that's my lil emmaroo, and it was one of the best choices I have ever made.

My experience is...if you are going for fun....go for it....just dont get all hung up on expectations......if you do it will probably be anti climactic......it was for me anyhow.

Keep expectations low and you will have fun........

Nope, never been to an online shindig. It would depend on a few factors as to whether I would attend one.

Yeah, I've had many one on one meetings, and attended one Lit get together. I have no idea what happened, but no one was where they were supposed to be. Trail and I showed up at the bar, and only one person from Lit was there, and thats Rocket88. We all left, not knowing what became of the great Lit meet....

I've met 6 other Litsters, and had a blast with each of them, one of which lives in a neighboring city...we go boating alot in the summer.

I think online meetings are way cool...to go from only reading their words and wondering what the expression on their face is as they're typing those words...to seeing them, touching them, watching their facial expressions, hearing them laugh...its wonderful.

I can say, that I think I have high expectations too. Yet, I always have a blast.

I have not been to a group get together, but I am thinking about going to an upcoming on .. I am thinking about it .. because like kitty said .. I don't know if I would really go , because I am also really shy.

But I have met someone one on one and it was great. We enjoyed ourselves very much and we remain friends. We call one another and we are always chatting ... I have to go visit again really soon. I like him because when he first began chatting with me, he never did the whole " sex" thing , asking questions which most men do .. all with sexual references ... etc. He is not trying to impress anyone ... and that is what caught my attention. We are great friends.

My kitties even sometime like to play under the covers at night. From them, it is a bit annoying. Playing under the covers with you, though, sounds like a whole different kettle of fish.
