I learned fast, that I shouldn't allow anonymous comments. (Someone told me I should take Zyklon B ...).

Now I have to live with this by the user 26thNC:

Your visit has lasted long enough, take your cuck shit home now.
I have already deleted three comments by him. Maybe he will get bored at some point. But it's not really fun to have to wrangle with that. I'm thinking about deleting my story. But that would mean he wins. Closing down comments would mean to me, that it's not worth it, to post here anymore. I want to be able to talk to my readers. And not only through private channels.

At the moment I won't post any more stories to Literotica. How about this as a new feature: A function to block a user from commenting on my stories.

Click on the '(!) Report' button st the bottom-right of the comment and explain your issues with this user

You need a tough skin here to publish cuckoldry/hot wife stories in Loving Wives, which is what I assume you did. There's a lot of nastiness. There's not much that can be done about it. But as Ruben suggested, go ahead and report it.

I've received responses like this and much, much worse. My response is to laugh at it. These kinds of comments have nothing to do with me or the quality of my story. They reflect the fact that there are some Literotica readers who are nasty, trollish people, and they have an unusual propensity to poop on authors to express their trollishness.

Keep in mind that these trolls are vastly outnumbered by readers who are not like them, even though those other readers may not be as vocal. Write and publish for those who like your stories and try not to let yourself be distracted by those nasty few who don't.

What SimonDoom said.

In general, making art is a very personal thing, and so showing that art to other people is really exposing yourself. The dates on my submissions show periods of activity with long gaps in between. That's because I know when I can't handle putting myself on display, and so I only publish them when I can. (I save them up and tend to publish several at once.) In those periods when I don't feel up to it, I definitely do NOT come back and read the comments. The funny thing is, when I am up to it, I find that most of the comments are supportive and complimentary, but when I'm feeling vulnerable, I become obsessed with the negative ones.

So what I'm saying is, know and respect your own limits. But I hope you never give up!

Here's my philosophy when it comes to putting stuff out on the net: If you're not getting trolled, you're doing something wrong.

Sometimes you gotta deal with them, but it also means people are reading your stuff.

You're posting here for the comments?

You're getting comments.

They have that. 'Course it blocks all users from commenting.

If you're attracting such comments you're doing something right. I used to take groups around art galleries, and it was always the most powerful pictures that made the philistines angry.
