Ones Inner Beast (closed)

He smiled at Maggie's expression as they walked along. “Don't worry, my sweet, I won't jump your bones here. I do think of other things other than sex. In fact on Tuesday at noon, I think of food.”

His eyes lit up as he chuckled. The park had quite a few people because it was the lunch hour. Still, it was a nice place to walk and enjoy the time together.

She couldn't help but laugh he was a very kind soul and a kindred spirit. But within each moment that they have together she loved how he made her feel. How everything is and always will be a beautiful way. Looking into his eyes she wondered what there life will be like.

As they walked along, Hank thought he heard two heart beats. Surprise and joy filled his face at the same time. He stopped and embraced Maggie in a strong hug. “I love you, Maggie; you'll make a great mother.”

She felt his embrace and heard his words, she didn't understand at first. "Hank what on Earth you talking about?" She didn't have his smell or hearing so she was taken back by the words and it hit her. "How...I can't...." She didn't finish her sentence. When she felt butterflies in her stomach, her hand over her stomach.

Hank smiled at her. “I can hear your heartbeat and that of the babe.” He held her close. “I love you and I want you for my wife, mate, bestest friend, lover, and the mother of our child.”

She smiled in a very loving moment and heard what all he said. But what she didn't see was a group of men that had been following the two of them since the start. "Hank...." She knew it was going to happen. She felt a blade go to her throat. "I trust you..."

Hank's sense of smell warned him at the same time as Maggie's voice saying, "I trust you..."

Not even knowing how he did it, Hank drew on his abilites as Beast without the change. His hand moved quicker than the blink of an eye. The hand with the knife was pushed away along with the man who held it. The man stumbled into his friend and they both fell to the ground.

Hank lifted both of them by the shirt collars and said, “Looks like a visit with the police is in order here.”

She was surprised by how he did it, taking on your abilities beast without even changing with some credible but it was something she knew he could do he wasn't barbaric he was smart he was actually a genius. She saw his strength and smiled, she let him take them to the police. She smiled seeing him coming out and she grinned
"I knew you could do it, you have finally accepted him" she kissed him lovingly

Hank enjoyed Maggie's kiss. “I wonder if our child will be a mutant also. Hope he can't fly. Can you imagine a flying baby – poop everywhere.”

She smiled "the baby will be a mutant I'm pretty sure, and flying I don't think so then again what would I know. Do you know of a doctor to check the baby out that you call a friend that knows what you are"

“Yeah, I know a lot of docs. Mutants are always getting banged up.”

His arm went around Maggie. “I guess we should find a different park. Trouble seens to find us there too often.”

She smiled at him nodded taking his hand walking beside him "maybe your friend can track the pregnancy I will need care the baby will need an OBGYN"

They walked hand in hand; all was right in Hank's work. “The doc's no problem. We need to find a larger place. My apartment is much too small. Be nice to have a place with a yard and peace and quiet too.”

She smiled at him and nodded they would need a bigger home but they had their time and she was grateful for that. "Well Hank we still have time I wouldn't worry to much my love" she said with a big grin on her face.

“That's true.” Maggie hadn't responded to his desire to make her his wife. He decided to bring up again at a later time. Her smile made her look so beautiful. They continued walking toward their apartment.

She smiled and stopped walking looking at him she kept mushing over the idea of marriage. She looked down and sighed softly. "Why do you want to marry me Hank?"

Hank smiled back at Maggie. “Because I love you, and you are the mother of our child. Since I met you, you have turned my life upside down. You fill my thoughts, making me a scatter brain. I can't imagine what life would be without you always near. I'm just plain crazy about you.”

She looked at Hank and chuckled a little "And what will Xavier say to that?" She said softly "I can see us being a symbol of hope a human and a mutant having a child and being a couple in love despite the differences" She chuckled.

“What others think or say matters not; all that matters to me is you, keeping you happy and safe, knowing that you are cherished and loved.”

She smiled looking into his eyes stroking his cheek "I do love you Hank and if your sure this is what you want, then I want it to. I trust you both sides of you, I'm not afraid of what ever comes"

Hank smiled. “Yeah, I'm very sure. We can start making plans. Think about where you want to go for our honeymoon. About the only place we can't go is the moon itself.” He chuckled.

She smiled at him she was a simple kind of gal "all we really need is a two-bedroom one-bath apartment Or one level home and as for where to go what about Hawaii but I think we should send that your doctor friend though to make sure the baby's healthy so far"

“Agreed, we'll get the doc, get married, get on a place, and get laid in Hawaii.” His face lit up like a Christmas tree.

Hank grinned. “Yeah, and you're gonna get laid a lot more – tonight even.” He put his arm around her waist. “I love you, babe.”
