One of my stories hit 50,000

The first story I ever posted here, The Crew: Cat, was viewed for the 50,000th time yesterday.
I know that's nowhere near any kind of Lit record (some stories have over a million views), but I am pretty pleased. With the exception of ad copy in rags like The Wall Street Journal, I don't think any other thing I've written has been seen by more than 50,000 people.
If you are one of my readers, I just have to say: Thank you! I love you!

I agree, I am astonished that the first of my stories was posted around three weeks ago. I now have seven posted and collectively they've been viewed over 500,000 times. That blows my mind. It amazes me to think that a lot of those viewers were getting off on my words.

I don't know about others, but I love reading the feedback. There's just not enough of it.

I don't know about others, but I love reading the feedback. There's just not enough of it.

The lack of feedback and votes has always been a big complaint by all writers here. But then again it's like marriage, after the reader gets off, they roll over and go to sleep.

Now you know how frustrated wives feel.
