You are. There is none exactly like you. You are distinct. You are wholly separate and other. Look at your hand and follow the lines of your skin. There never has been, and never will be a print just like yours. You are uniquely individual. Billions of clay models have never produced one such as you. Your passionate mold has its own DNA blueprint. There are no duplicates - no carbon copies.

Your clitoris has your copyright. Your orgasm is your trademark. The love that we make is distinctly ours. No two hearts have generated the same electric current that we feel. It is OUR sexual chemistry. It is OUR sensual dance. Like the endless variations of crashing waves, our crest has our signature. We ride its tide in our own inimitable fashion - our heights…and depths are known only to us. The flashing lightness of fusion…the hungry pleas of passion…are our unique brushstrokes on this canvas of our copulation – our masterpiece moment.

God…I am grateful…truly grateful. To see. To know. To feel.

We are gods.

I must admit that the urge to mate and sex, is still an absolute mystery to me. I remember reading Lady Chatterley as a teenager, when she relfects on the ludicrous picture of her lover's buttocks pumping as he fucked her.

It can be a very spiritual activity - centred on self, on the other and participating in life itself. A universal imperative.

When adults get worried about teenage sexual behaviour, I often feel they are projecting a disappointment with their own sexuality onto their kids. For teenagers, sex is very often a sacred mystery. This is what should be celebrated with them, rather than the fears, the mechanics and the taboos.

It's like that movie American Beauty when the dad says to his daughter's terriblt shallow but hot girlfriend, "You couldn't be ordinary if you tried...."

Of course he was in the act of seducing her, but the fact is that we are all looking for beauty and for some of us it is a fear of being "ordinary" or insignificant. And the truth is no individual could be ordinary if they tried.

Ordinary. Bah.

"Normal" is the setting on a washing machine, I like to say.

yes, free, aren't we all just kids at different stages? We work so hard on them to suppress them, and then wonder why they rebel, or need the years of distance therapy.

Exactly riff! Just to see the complexity of life and its players - To embrace each moment...each heart without judgment and projected disappointment - To make love with each person in their own distinct way - To use the 'normal' for routine chores, but reserve the 'extraordinary' for our relationships.

In most Transactional Analysis models, sexual expression is an expression of the child in us.

I have also believed that philosophical reflection belongs to the child, too.

I often feel like my philosophies are childish...simplistic:)

It's easier to get my hands around them:cool:
