Hi sweetie, parts of it have been listed, parts of it have just been discussed privately with people, and part of it was just a matter of feeling overwhelmed and burnt out.

I never watermarked my pics and some of them ended up being stolen and posted on another site. My fault yes... However, I hate watermarking my pics and also know that anyone with even an ounce of technical savvy can just remove the watermark unless I make it stupidly obvious and plaster it across my boobs or something. If I do that, well someone with even more technical savvy can still do it if they're feeling really determined, though it probably wouldn't be worth the effort.

I was originally going to go back and watermark and re-post most or all of the pics....and then I started to realize just how many pictures I had...and it was an incredibly daunting prospect. Also, since I like to get somewhat artistic with some of my photos the watermarking aspect was sort of ruining the whole aesthetic of it for me which bummed me out.

I also tend to get a little too sucked into the whole Lit performance and start to feel like I'm letting people down if I don't respond to every single pm, or post an entire set of pictures every single day, etc. I make it way too hard on myself and turn it into a job instead of just being intelligent enough to simply come and chat with my friends in my threads and theirs (which is my favorite part of Lit) and just let anyone who doesn't like it wander right back of to wherever they came from.

Ooops...that was a whole lot of answer for someone who wants to be lazy and not read eh? But really, it's me...what did you expect?

Hi everyone!

To everyone who posted while I was gone, I'm sorry I wasn't around to respond, I also apologize to any who I worried. I know that there were a few and it was never my intent to scare anyone. I haven't gone back and responded to all of the older comments because it's a bit overwhelming, and I don't even know how many of you are still lurking around these parts. So, don't feel that the lack of personal response is an indication of a lack of love please.

As for me...a quick and relatively clean update.

I've been spending most of my time taking care of an 85 year old family member who suffered a massive stroke and barely made it through. That's been both one hell of a job, and a real reminder to appreciate the important things in life. For those of you who are a bit more familiar with my personal situation (if anyone remembers anything but boobs that is) you can imagine that this has been one hell of a task for me too. It's not about feeling sorry for myself, but it is incredibly difficult.

Gaming: You didn't really think I could have stopped did you? I'm pretty sure I'll be a gamer gal until the day I die. Since time has been somewhat limited the list of things to play is growing and growing and I had to resist the urge to spend a ton of money that I don't have readily available on the Steam Summer Sale. I did however get sucked into Diablo 3. Damn Blizzard gets me every time. Diablo is dead of course...on inferno...and yet I play on. Sheesh!

Pets: Because taking care of my pet stroke victim (it's said with love), and my old lady of a dog, and my family just wasn't enough...I managed to gather up a few more pets. First came the albino corn snake, quickly followed by the leopard gecko, followed soon after by the Kassina Maculata that I was BEGGED to rescue and am having a hell of a time with. Look it up people!

I'm rather worried that my rescue mission just might fail, though not for lack of trying. Light, humidity, temperature all monitored 24 hours a day and I'm still getting next to no movement, it refuses to eat, and yet it still seems strong and healthy. I'm considering resorting to force feeding...though that's definitely a last resort. I'm sort of hoping that it's just gone into hibernation mode...it's burrowed itself in pretty damn good at this point.

Sick of listening to me babble again yet? No? I could probably continue...but I probably shouldn't. Yes? Perhaps a picture or two is in order then. I swore I wouldn't take any new ones...we'll see how long THAT bright idea lasts. However, I was supposed to watermark and re-post some of the other pictures ages ago. So, it's really nothing new, then again none of it really is right. You've seen it all before, and as always I struggle to determine if I prefer the black and white or color shots.

It's so good to see you again, and I'm so sorry I ran off without warning. I feel as if we were just getting to know each other and becoming good friends...and then everything hit at once and suddenly there was no time to retreat from the real world into the land of Lit anymore...or really even communicate with it.

You know, most of us know that at some point in our lives we may have to care for someone in this manner. It just doesn't usually happen the way we anticipate it will. The person that I care for is not a family member, is not someone that I know well...though I have known him casually for over 10 years, and is not someone that I have ever really even been comfortable being alone with. And suddenly...I'm responsible for it ALL. This is so not what I expected to be doing at this age...then again I didn't anticipate the other issues either. Ah well...we live, we learn, we adapt, we grow stronger, and life goes on.

Someone has to do it, and while I may vent about it at times just to relieve some of my own stress over the situation I really am happy to do it. There's not really anyone else to care for him, he's not the type who could survive in a home, he spent his life serving our country, and then fostering troubled teens when he finally retired.

There's no need to apologize at all. Unless I'm in the middle of a conversation with someone I'm often guilty of looking at pictures and neglecting to leave comments, though I do attempt to respond to all of the comments in my thread. Either way there's no harm done, and much life to be lived outside of Lit.

Be thankful you didn't browse and have to try to pick favorites out before I took most of them down. I can't remember what I was up to before I started deleting, but I think there were something like 500 pictures, as well as a couple of video and audio links. Sigh...there's a reason you are truly one of my dearest friends I've met on Lit. You literally made me tear up a bit there for a moment. There's so much to tell you and so much I want to ask, but I really don't even know where to begin. So for now, just know how very much you're appreciated and have been missed.
