One mass shooting each day in the U.S.

Back to the problem of mass shootings.

I also believe the media should post more graphic photos, as "tastefully" as possible i.e. blur out faces, etc. But the American public should see what these really boil down to. They should show a parking lot littered with fifty draped bodies. Show a pic of the emergency room afterwards, before its cleaned up. Instead of obsessing about the killer, interview doctors about what they had to do. Interview people paralyzed for life. (I heard about two quadraplegics and four paraplegics from this last one.)

They need to REPORT on what an AR does to a body in addition to all the candles and kumbaya.

Maybe the reality of it will start sinking into the gun nuts.

With this kind of material out there, it makes it that much harder for Rs to keep supporting guns.

I am very down on CNN this week. I hate how they portray these events. And stop giving ideas and directions for psychos watching it all!!!

Yeah, but as has been said frequently, once gun nuts waved away an elementary school littered with dead children, any suggestion they have brains or hearts evaporates.

True.

It's "the price they're willing to pay" for "freedom."

What do we call those who purchase their freedom with the bodies of scores, hundreds, thousands of innocent children, women, and men?

I call them sociopaths.

Not so different from the British who invented concentration camps during their Boer Wars. Farmer-guerrillas in the bush saw their families herded into raw compounds from which few emerged alive. Or Gringos vs Indians: "Kill them all; nits make lice." But these guys didn't pretend at liberation, only domination, conquest.

Murkans who would buy their 'freedom' (nothing left to lose) with mass deaths - how can they be tolerated? Are they an existential threat to civil society?
