This is exactly what amazon wants. A few indy authors doing well so they can claim no foul play.

What there real target is, is erotica. How are your erotic titles selling Richard? Don;t bother answering I already know, pretty much like the rest of ours.

Amazon is flushing out erotica first as who will really defend it? Think a change.org petition to protect "step mommy" stories is going to pan out?

I've never had problems with promoting one's published works on the forum, LC (and gave a congrats straight off the last time RR posted something like this). Internet discussion boards have been a legitimate promotional platform since the Internet was turned on.

What I've been pointing out is the hypocritical and obnoxious activity (yours) of selectively razzing me about having review blurbs in my signature line on my books while saying nothing about others putting multiple covers in their signature lines and you promoting everything about your life all over the forum.

P.S. Although not directly addressed to you, I think Bramble has just posted something on the Editor's Forum that zings right atcha, LC. What you're doing and have been doing for two years is NOT healthy or normal. You need professional help (or more than what you're getting already).

Correction: Not want to advertise. They know it's going to sell even without extra promotion. I'm sure they're perfectly happy with the cut they're getting from erotica sales.

It's the same reason that I suspect Incest stories appear lower on the new stories list here most of the time. No need to feature them, because they're going to get gaggles of readers even if they're mixed up in the middle of the page, and it helps avoid scaring off the "straights".
