But so true........what are you really worried about pp? Do you not want people to be free? Do you want to die of a funky sickness that you didn't inflict on yourself, but inflicted on you by terrorist? Or maybe you want to be a french fry, what about a free Iraq don't you like? Timetables...
They're still loading tanks and APCs on the ships. It takes about two weeks to get there and offload. Then you have assignment, and staging to the respective units. Then you have two weeks of practice and terrain training before the units will be good to go.
I pick February 28th, after the "shock and awe" cruise attack, most of which will be SF/Ranger and airbourne assault in the immediate Baghdad area and oil fields. The units will probably stage in the North and South no-fly zones of Iraq.
