I thought it would be interesting to see who the favorite Captain are.

Jean Luc Picard-preferably without clothes on:D

witcha

My choice is Janeway.... especially if she's serving me :D

(then again, I always tend to go for strong women who submit to me, dunno why  )

picard picard picard picard picard picard...

i like picard :D
xx

Picard, if only because TNG was the first show I watched.

Picard or Kirk, depending on the season. I really don't think Picard could do justice with Kirk's scenes any more than Kirk could "make it so" with Picard's scenes.

However, leaving my preferences for the aforementioned fantasies aside, I believe that Picard is the best captain.

Kirk was a good character, and i loved the way he always got the sexy female, but Shatner was a bad actor, boosted by a strong, well developed role.

Picard as a character is just as well developed, and Patrick Stewart can
ACT.

Definately Kirk because I like the original cast better. They had better personalities and weren't strictly formal as TNG crew was.

I'm surprised you had to ask. Don't you know that this forum is actually the 'I love Patric Stewart' fan club? Come on! ;)

So far I'm the only one that voted Sisko. You people haven't watched enough DS9!!

Jean Luc Picard has to be the main captain!

Who can forget "The Best of Both Worlds" when he became Locutus and kicked ass.
I saw the first episode, which was a series finale and I had to rush out to get the video as I couldn't wait 6 months for the next series.

Arr memories..and in honour of Jean Luc..

That is my least favorite series in the franchise, personally. The first couple of seasons were pretty good, and I enjoy watching those reruns, but once they got into the Dominion War it all went to hell.

Actually Sisko was my second favorite, but he just didnt' turn my buttons the way that Capt. Picard did. Although he's got a pretty sexy voice, too, but he just seemed to be trying to hard. And then all that about being the 'chosen one'. *gag* Then he started having to act all . . . well ick. But I loved DS9 up till the last season. The second Dax sucked. They should have had it come back as a man that time. Now that'd been priceless, to see Warfs face to have his wife as a man. *giggles* Oh, well, they didn't ask my opinion.

Okay, I can see liking Sisko for the voice bit. I know he's done some professional singing.

By the way, I have had the privilege f interpreting for:
Nana Visitor (Kira)
Alan Ruck (captain of Enterprise B)
Carolyn Seymour (Voyager and TNG guest star)
Judson Scott (TWOK, Voyager and TNG guest star)
Phil Morris (TSFS, Voyager and DS9 and TOS guest star)
Marina Sirtis (Troi)
Cirroc Lofton (Jake Sisko)
Brian Thompson (Generations, DS9 and Enterprise and TNG guest star)
Nicole deBoer (Ezri Dax)
Manu Intiraymi (one of the Borg kids on Voyager)

Ha! Nicole deBoer was actually super nice, too. Before she walked offstage, she came over to me and whispered "thanks very much" which speakers almost never do. I was so shocked that I sought her out later in the day and thanked her for saying it! She happened to be carrying around some publicity shots of herself, so she pulled one out and signed it with a personal note about "thanks for getting my message across" or something like that. Super nice woman.

Intertpreting? As in ASL? Are they deaf?

Yes, I am a sign language interpreter. The actors are not deaf, but they were speaking to an audience that included deaf people.

Another vote for the luverly Sisko here! I much prefer the shaved head and goatee look to the clean-shaven, short hair look, by the way. And his singing...

Yay another Sisko fan!!! :)

Kirk was the man in his time. Then Picard was the ultimate man. But Janeway... especially after she let her hair down... she was all woman, and put the men to shame.

(Is this a good place to ask if anyone else thought the Borg queen was sexy as hell? Damn, she was hot!)

wow

Wow, you've INTERPRETED at conventions? That's awesome!

Nicole DeBoer does seem like she'd be really nice.
