"On the Job" Story Event 2023

I do much of my initial writing on a PC laptop but edit and fine tune on a big screen, desktop Mac (just like EmilyMiller…not!). I thought I had lost my rough draft of my workplace story (before I backed up the file) while I was moving it from the PC. Pretty unhappy there for a few minutes until I found it.

I'm doing a story about two security guards that are stuck watching an empty warehouse called Five Nights with Freddy.

I was going to submit either a COVID Sex Stories or a Pillaging with the Orc hoards CH 04 in April. Does a dungeon filled with orcs count as a 'work place'? Or should I just go with a story where a guy sneaks into work and has sex with his boss during quarantine?

If the Orcs leave the swamp where they live and go to the dungeon to create havoc, I'd say that qualifies as a workplace. 😁

I can't picture Orcs filling out a W4 then punching a clock, but if the entire story takes place in the area that they razed, I suppose that would be their workplace. Pillaging does qualify as gainful employment.

“Gronk, my ex-wife is killing me with the alimony. Can we maybe do some of this pillaging under the table?”

I think I want to post a stand alone Noncon story using characters from my "Fucky Friday" April Fool's contest in the On The Job Event.

That's allowed, right?

You can use characters and settings from any "universe" you can even make a side story to an existing series, as long as it is a complete story and not a part of another story. Complete story means all vital parts are there - exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution. You don't have to go crazy with each part, but even though you're using existing characters, you still have to introduce them to new readers (exposition)

Description:

"On the Job" 2023

It's one of the most common fantasies in the world. You see someone sharply dressed, diligently performing a task with the utmost professionalism. Maybe it's your boss or co-worker. Or maybe it's the person serving you.

But of course, sex is always in the back of your mind.

On April 24th, Monday, right here on Literotica, those themes will be explored in all their beautiful glory.

Because who doesn't desire sex in the workplace?

Guidelines:

- The ENTIRE story must happen at a place of employment
- At least one character must be an employee
- Doesn't have to be one scene. Make as many scenes as you want.
- Examples include; a retail business, a professor at college, an airline employee at the airport or airplane, a hotel attendant, and of course an office worker. etc...

Date:

The posting period is between April 16 - April 23

Final list to be posted on April 24, Monday

You don’t mention it, but some of the other comps say stand-alone stories only.

I wasn’t planning on doing anything else, but I use the chapter structure to group stand-alone stories by theme. E.g. stories from when I was at college, fantasy stories etc. Will it be problematic if I use this structure?

Shouldn't be an issue. This is an event, not a competition. Normal rules do not apply.

Totally fine.

One of mine is a prequeal and a sequel to an older story.

Is the "First Time" category referring to a character's first sexual encounter, or an author's first submission?

First sexual encounter OR first sexual encounter OF A PARTICULAR TYPE (first fellatio, first cunnilingus etc, even if the character isn't a virgin)

It is the characters first sexual encounter. The reader may or may not care if it is your first submission, but that would make an interesting intro - "For my first submission I chose to offer a story of (character's name)'s first time" or something like that. You may get a few extra votes for the effort, but if you get the opposite, don't let it get to you.

@HeyAll..... Does it have to be a "stand alone" story or can it be part of a "series"???

I didn't see that anywhere and want to make sure that I follow your rules for the contest.

Well, the rules aren't strict. It's a story event.

The spirit of the event is that the entire story must be at a place of work.

For me, one of my stories is both a prequel and a sequal to an old story of mine.

OK. Thank you for the prompt response. I appreciate it.

I write a story that is handled like a stand alone, but is part of a series. Meaning that there is enough exposition for a new reader to understand exactly what is going on, and the characters and locations are from the series. Then at some point you move the story into the series. I tend to name the story outside of the series naming convention, and in the intro paragraph I mention where in the series this occurs. I haven't had a complaint yet.

I will have a story for Erotic Couplings.
I had to disqualify my first story. The couple went back to her place. This time I've kept everything on campus.

Story written. 5.5k words.

After prevaricating and considering a few different categories, I’ve stuck with Erotic Couplings. It doesn’t 100% fit, but the fit with any other category is worse.
