Final edits one mine are complete and it ended up at just over 6,000 words, which was actually my initial guess (I was confusing it with another story in the works when I said it was shorter, above). I'll probably read it a few more times this week, do a few more tweaks, and submit next weekend so I can stop looking at it and move on to the other one.

First draft is done and checking in at just over 11k words. A week or so of editing should have me right on schedule for an April 22nd / 23rd submission. My "economic recovery" angle is weak but I'll see what I can do about that. Other than that I'm pretty happy with the result.

Story idea for On the Job

Description:

"On the Job" 2021 -- Economic Revival

It's one of the most common fantasies in the world. You see someone sharply dressed, diligently performing a task with the utmost professionalism. Maybe it's your boss or employee. It could be a co-worker or the person serving you.

But of course, sex is always in the back of your mind.

This year there's a twist. Economies are opening again which gives plenty of opportunities for new ventures, ideas, and promotions.

On April 26th, Monday, right here on Literotica, those themes will be explored in all their beautiful glory.

Because who doesn't desire a little sex at work?

Guidelines:

- The ENTIRE story must happen at a place of employment
- At least one character must be an employee
- Doesn't have to be one scene. Make as many scenes as you want.
- Economic revival is a central theme

- Examples include; a retail business, a professor at college, an airline employee at the airport or airplane, a hotel attendant at a hotel, and of course an office worker in the office. etc...

When you say economic recovery, does it have to be the current one? What about 2008? Everything has to be in the work area or business, no referrals to at home adultery with out details? I have a story that goes over 30 years, but no sex until 2008. Before that a lot of all most's, a close friendship that neither of us was willing to make the first move, but the time spent together made us closer.

Mine's in the can but I'll hold off submitting until next week. There's a fairly lengthy stretch getting to the workplace in question but the majority of the story takes place in one scene that is entirely in the workplace so I hope that I haven't bent the rules to the breaking point.

Mine has been submitted after a beta read by Sister Jezabel (thanks, Jez!). The economic recovery aspect turned out stronger than originally anticipated, but it was the recovery following the double-dip recession of the early 1980s rather than the present.
