I don't know weather you have seen it yet or not but there is a commercial up here for On Star Car security aid.
It is a batman commercial so to speak, you see the batman doing serveral fight things then on his way to the bat mobile he calls Onstar and they electronically unlock his car before he gets there. once in the car the feul like shows up, again he presses for On STar and they give him the exact location to the nearest feul outlet.

Well I thought by my meager mindeset that this does and should concern each and every person, who values there freedom. Why you ask? I am glad you did.
For the average JoeBlowthemself it means nothing, but for those who question the invasion of our private lives this is very serious.
Say you go to the store or something or whatever, you leave your vehicle, well there might be this quota meeting cop that thinks you parked wrong or beathed in the wrong nostril or something, well once you leave the car or while you are still in it, the cop now has the technology to keep you in that car or prevent you from getting in it and getting away you are now at the whim of the authorites.
Next, If the technology can tell you how far you are from the nearest gasbar does it not also apply to reason that your exact location at all times is now being know to whomever may be tracking it?
This means your activites are known and everyone who has this technology in there car is known where they go. Again If you are the average JoeBlowyourself this means absolutely dick squat nothing, but what if you are somone who has desenting or opposing views of government? What if you collect with people of diseenting or opposing views of government? It menas your activities are know.
All this combined with the feature of electonic shut down of cars at the push of a button in a cops car{supposeidly to stop runaway criminals from doing damage} leads to a controled slave society.
