Perhaps our body of work (or words) stands on its own merits and we don't 'need' to flaunt anything. Quality shows. Cream rises to the top.

Being a braggart-through words or pictures might demonstrate more of a lack of self-esteem than pride. But, it's not fair to use absolutes to categorize or qualify anyone's motives though - either those that do choose to flaunt or those who don't.

As an aside to OUTSIDER, why, just the other day I was writing home about your mind!
