On BDSM talk, I've posted pics of human hair floggers..Can these be..

I wouldn't think so. But then that depends on the dom/me's inventiveness; braided hair could pack some thud if swung right, for example. And then's beads...

Such an erotic idea though. A domme whipping me with her hair, or a

hair whip.

I think you'd be surprised about how painful it might be. Sure, it wouldn't be the same as a leather flogger, etc.

But, if you have long hair, haven't you ever had the wind blow it and have it lash against your face? It stings. And, that is minor, compared to a full flogger and the power of someone controlling and directing it.

There are horsehair floggers. They aren't overpowering but more a nasty sting. This is the kind of sting that is hard to explain. It stings, then it kind of itches. After a lot of this, the sting overpowers the itching.

I've made a nylon flogger that has just about the same affect. It is made of thin nylon strands, and it stings on impact. It's best for those who are overly sensitive and can't handle a heavy flogger on pussy or tits.

When you measure things like this, you must measure against something that is similar. You don't measure the sting of a flogger against the sting of a paddle, unless you are just testing which you like of the two.

But if you are measuring the power of something, you need a control, or standard. That way, you can be more accurate with how it will feel, not only to you, but to others, too. They will know how the standard feels to them and be better able to judge how the item being tested will feel.

I agree with you, that for some people, a hair flogger won't be much. But, if it's long enough for a snap, trust me. In the hands of someone who knows what they're doing, one of these hair floggers can be intimidating.

i wonder what it would be like for someone to beat me with my own hair.
I don't know. you'd look kind of funny, bald, don't you think?

you wanna pull the hair out from the roots? how about just cutting it?
Well, neither. You need long locks and the best way to do that is to shave your head. hence the work bald.

Pulling it out by the roots? Ewwwww! That's so Neanderthal!

Well, maybe. But, the longer the better, you know. And, after all, you'll be all tied up.

Now, wouldn't that be a kinky experience? You get captured, stripped naked, and then tied up and gagged. Then, all of the sudden you hear this sound...

Buuzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

You'd end up looking like that Irish singer from the 80s. I forget her name. She was (and still is) kind of kookie. Not that you're kookie, but the do would match.

Well, being a submissive means you sometimes do things you might not like to do, but do them anyway, because of the thrill involved.

And, there are hats and wigs and such. But, if you want to be whipped with your own hair, either do it that way or hang your head out the car window on an Interstate drive.

Actually, isn't there some sort of emotional trauma that people get into and one of the side effects is they do drastic things like shave their head?

Any social doctors out there to explain the reason they do such things?

Sorry, gotta go to bed now. Work sucks but it almost pays my bills.

No, we join the military and force the girlfriend to give us a high and tight.

22 years later, and a cut off mane still exists in a ziploc bag at a house far away from here.

I think that'd sting quite a bit.
Would be interesting to have one's hair cut clipping made into a flogger.
Renewable resource that nothing died to make too, good for those die-hard environmentalists that refuse to eat meat and wear leather too.

Certainly makes me think twice about getting my hair cut though...

Rats! Now I'm gonna have to go google this or go to the library or something because this is going to haunt the back of my head as I try to remember the name of the syndrome.

I remember in "the Young Unicorns" (I think) by Madelieine L'Engle, they were talking about Canon Tallis (gold star for whomever can find the pun in his name.). He was completely bald, because he was captured by terrorists or south american rebels or red chinese or something and tortured in a yucky non consensual way. So as a stress reaction, all his hair fell out except his eyelashes. She mentioned the syndrome by name, but I can't remember what it is.

And just to keep this out of hijack land, hair floggers just sound icky. I mean, it's someone's hair! Gross. But, I do have long hair too, and DVS is right, I think, that it would be way stingy in the right hands. Especially if you wet it first.

alopecia is a skin disorder , but i dont think thats what DVS meant.

I don't think that's what it is either. It's something related to ptsd disorder.
