Being the homebody that she was, Kali had no problem spending her saturday night at home. She didn't want to go to the party that everyone she knew was going to be going to...it just meant drama. Kali opted to stay home. She was wearing a fitted tshirt and baggy sweat pants that were low on her hips. She wasn't expecting anyone so when she heard a knock on her door she was surprised. She was even more surprised when she opened the door and saw her friend Amy's boyfriend on the other side. He looked upset... She knew it had to him and Amy fighting or something.... Amy wasn't the easiest person to get along with... Kali had wittnessed countless fights between the couple...normally over stupid little things... Amy overracted alot. Kali hadn't been hanging out with her as much because of it. She cleared her throat... "Hi, What are you doing here?"

"Hey it's been a crazy night i couldn't think of anywhere else nearby and someone hit and run me up the street, mind if i come in I'm kinda freaking out a bit." Nathan didn't want to admit it but he had just been dumped. On his way home he got in the accident, and he really was freaking out a bit. " I'm sorry to just barge in, I hope I'm not keeping your from anything

"Oh wow...yeah come on in..." she shut the door behind him. "Are you alright? Were you alone in the car?" she touched his shoulder and was able to feel how tense he was. "Come on, lets go sit down." she led him into the livingroom, taking a seat on the couch next to him.

"Yeah I'm fine, the asshole wrecked my rear tires I can't drive at all." I take off my jacket only in a T-shirt and jeans now I put the jacket next to me on the couch. "Thanks so much for helping me out it's been a bit of a crazy night." "I mean, you know how Amy can get when she gets all worked up. You sure you don't mind me dropping by, I mean i haven't seen you in at least a month, How are you doing, you and John broke up right?"

Kali listened as he explained what happend. "Of course I don't mind you coming here! We are still friends. I know all too well what Amy can be like." she smiled, "That would be why I'm not around much anymore...it just got to be too much for me." She ran her hand up and down his back lightly. "I'm doing good...just doin my thing....not much into going out...and yes, John and I broke it off....and I'm definatly ok with that." she laughed

I smile when i hear she is single, I never could help but look at her whenever i could get a fleeting glimpse. She was gorgeous, everyone knew, and i knew that was another reason i hadn't seen her in awhile. Amy was the jealous type. I laugh as she does. " Well you're not the only one who got tired of Amy. I think she figured it out too, she broke up with me tonight. " i sigh but then smile after i realize i really didn't want to have to deal with her anymore anyways. "Hey you mind if i borrow your phone? my cell has terrible signal out here."

Kali is shocked to hear they actually broke up. Shaking herself back to reality she smiles, "Sure of course....." she stands up and grabs her phone handing it to him. As she dials Kali can't help but to think of all those times that she had wished she had been the one dating him.....

He steps away to call the auto shop. after he hangs he just sighs and hands the phone back to her. Just brushing his hand against her to return the phone sets his mind abuzz. "So, there is no way they are going to be able to get here anytime soon, and now that I'm newly single I guess I don't have any plans for tonight. What about you? I don't want to keep you from anything if you were heading out later."

kali laughed when he brought up her having plans. "No plans.... as you can see from my attire I was just being lazy at home alone tonight.... but if you wanna hang out I wouldn't mind your company at all." She smiled at him. He really was a nice guy and she had always had a crush on him but would have never said so since he was with Amy.

He lets out a laugh, "You still look absolutely gorgeous, but that invitation to stay and relax does sound incredible!" He sits down and looking over at her says, "SO whats the plan, wanna watch a movie?

Kali laughed as she ran her fingers thru her hair. "Well thanks....sweet of you to say that." she smiled as he took a seat on the couch. "Yeah, that was my plan...anything specific you wanna watch?.....afterall, you are the guest." she winked at him. It was nice to see him away from Amy and the drama. They had a lot in common with eachother.

"I could really go for something funny right about now." shaking his head and looking over at her, his thoughts wondering as he spread out on the couch, arms resting atop the back of it. "Definitely something that's gonna make me smile"

Kali smiled, "I totally understand...." she walked over to the entertainment center and looked thru the stack of movies picking the hangover because everyone laughs at that movie at some point.

She walked back over to the couch and took a seat, not sitting ackwardly close to him, but not leaving a big gap between them either... She started the movie and settled back on the couch. The movie got going and they were both laughing at it, she looked over and smiled a genuine smile, "It's nice to hear you laugh." she patted his knee easily as she said it. "You've got one of those laughs that is contagious."

He smiles as soon as he sees the hangover start playing "It's great to be able to relax and just be myself. thank you so much for letting me stay I needed a chill night." She pats his knee and he looks over smiling at her comment. "Thanks, I enjoy making other people smile." He stands up and grabs a drink comes back to the couch sitting down, this time not all the way over on the arm rest, less space separates them than before, and as the movie continues he cant help but steal glances at her more and more often, thinking he shouldn't get caught but wondering what if?

Kali smiled back at him, "I'm happy you can relax around me." As he walked away to get something to drink she couldn't help but to check him out. She had always had a crush on him, even before he had started to date Amy but would have never done anything about it....

As he came back into the livingroom and took a seat she couldn't help but to notice that he was sitting a little closer to her thing time. She smiled as she watched the movie.... She casually ran her fingers thru her long hair. When she glanced over she noticed him looking at her. She smiled at him, "We should do this more often." she focused on the movie again but couldn't help but to notice him looking over at her. She used one of the little throw pillows to playfully hit his shoulder, "It's not polite to stare." she teased, laughing as she said it.

lifting his hands playfully in defense "Haha I'm sorry your just so relaxed, I'm not really used to it, so used to a guarded wall being up." He scoots a little closer, just a few inches separating their knees. "and now I definitely have to keep an eye on you. don't wanna be bruised and beat up tomorrow. " smiling as he jokes with her, "you know, I don't know if my laugh is contagious or you just keep making me smile..."

Kali laughed rolling her eyes, "If I manage to bruise you with a pillow there may be a problem." she smiled as he commented about keeping an eye on her. "Don't worry, I'm more of a lover than a fighter." she laughed. "Well, I do what I can to make you smile and laugh."

"fair enough, lovers are always better than fighters." looking her straight in the eye. "you know we really don't hang out enough if you ask me, and honestly I have no idea why not."

kali laughed and shrugged her shoulders, "well we will just have to change that... but I'm pretty sure we never hung out before today because your girlfriend would have murdered me in my sleep."

"You're probably right, at least now we can get to know each other a little better. Although I would never let her near you if I thought she was gonna try and hurt you." He reaches over and grabs a blanket from the side of the couch spreading it out a little. "You want in on this?" as he laughs "It's nice and cozy plus I apprantly make a great pillow."

Kali laughed, "my hero huh?" she teased playfully. When he spread the blanket out she laughed, " I know it's a cozy blanket... That's why I bought it." she laughed as she scooted over next to him and moved under the blanket with him. She curled up against him letting her head lay back against him. "hmm your right... You do make a great pillow." she looked up at him and smiled.

"you may have bought it but i spread it out oh so well." giving a playful shove before she settles up against him. looking down at her as she cuddle up against him he just smiles with how good she feels. readjusts how hes sitting so they can be as close as possible. trying to do it subtly. "I am glad I am comfortable. I aim to please!"

Kali smiled as he rearranged himself and they laid comfortably against each other. She felt his arm laying against hers and she casually moved so it slipped down and around her a little more. Feeling her in his arms made her smile. It felt so right. "now just don't plan on moving because now I'm really comfy." she teased.

He pulls his arm tighter around her stomach feeling her body against his. "last move i swear, I could stay like this for awhile and be just fine." The feeling of her in his arms is incredible. almost intoxicating her smell filling his nostrils and the feel of her forces him to spend some time concentrating on the movie instead.

Kali smiled lagging softly. "we can watch as many movies as you want." she felt herself relax against him. She had butterflies being this close to him but at the same time it felt so good. She forcEd herself to pay attention to the movie.
