On a dare

:kiss::heart:

Indeed, however those really warm days do spoil us!

LOL perhaps I can schedule some 'me' time soon. Need to find someone to give me the me time I want ;)

Hi {{{{Juvare}}}}}

Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend. Have you found the someone yet? I hope you do soon.

I slept through the cruddiness, evidently. It is beautiful here! Already took the puppy out and will likely go again in a bit.

I do! My neck and shoulders are killing me. Between my job and the heaviness of my boobs it's a common issue. Work out the knots and I'd satisfy any 'itch' you might have.

I could work out the knots for you. I could squeeze, rub and knead the stress away. I'm like most guys, I nearly always have an "itch", and I'd hope you would too. hahaha:devil:

It was a lovely weekend. Friends and family to share it with. Can't really ask for more than that.

Me too! Guess it would help if I were actually looking haha

Yes!

To all of the above.

Oh, and what privelages does this "pass" allow the holder? Creativity can definitely be consuming, and can wear a soul out.

To not be made fun of when one can't keep up.

As well as make a soul sing, fly, soar and sparkle. That's right, I said sparkle.

Touche'.

Nothing wrong with a sparkling soul. We need a little flamboyant in our lives sometimes.

Why have you not posted anything in your art thread in forever?

That's funny, I was just talking to another artist about that very subject. I have all these good intentions but never actually sit down and create anything. For the past few years I have channelled my art into my work, and it has really taken a lot of time and energy from me. I was thinking two days ago about starting another pointilism, but not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

I really love the pointilisms that you have posted.

What has been inspiring you lately? Even when I don't have time to really focus on a creative outlet, my mind will wander in those still and quiet times before I give in to sleep. What do you see or think about in those moments?

Other than antique farm equipment (interesting angles, lines and shadings), really nothing. I need to finish the series on the hands, but am uninspired to do so. I need a muse.

Then do some with the antique farm equipment.

Whenever you feel you 'need' to do something in particular, it's difficult to find inspiration and much less joy. It's when you 'want' to do something in particular that there is brilliance and satiation. At least, that is true within me. A lot of times, when I focus on what it is I want to do, what I need to do naturally follows. The juices are following easily and the desire is there to finish.

Then again, I have authority issues. Even with myself.

Flowing juices? ;)

True, it's always better to find the joy before starting. The end result is always better. You can nearly always tell when something comes from the heart. In my life, nearly everything revolves around art in some form or other, so I tend to take things for granted and lose the joyousness in my surroundings. I just need to step back, take a calming look and move in a forward motion. Just stop stalling.

I've accepted my authority issues with myself, I'm still rebelling the outside. hahaha.

Haha, I do believe so. It's kind of like the idea that you can't win the lotto if you never buy a ticket.

Which is why I've never won!

While moving forward is almost always a good goal - don't forget that dancing around in circles and going nowhere can be fun too. We are all guilty of taking things for granted. It's when we realize it and start appreciating what we have that we can really move forward.

Then again, I'm likely just talking out my ass to seem all deep and wise and shit.

Heh, the outside reciprocates with me. I need to be independently wealthy so I can truly embrace being eccentric.
