On a dare

TMI? No way. If I wasn't interested, I wouldn't have asked!

I hear really positive wonderful things about yoga and could definitely use some improvements in balance, strength and flexibility. I remember quite clearly a party I was at when I was 20ish in which everyone who could wrap their ankle behind their neck got extra shots.. no problem doing it then. Haha, haven't tried in a long, long time but would sure love to be that bendy again!

There are places in the US where it stays 70ish all year round. However, the cost of living in these areas tend to be way outside of my financial grasp. LOL

You are such a dear.

Wow, and just how many extra shots did you get?

As far as places like that in the 70s all year, they are way way out of my grasp too. Oh well, I do ok by just staying in during the worst of winter. ;)

How about 'spin the bottle'? We'll need to do something with that empty tequila bottle!

Sounds like fun, I don't believe I've actually ever played the game. I think I've been missing out on something.

The brindle markings is the first thing that made me notice him. I love his coloring. This is really the first dog that I've owned. I grew up around dogs but it's not the same as owning one. Way more to it than with a cat haha. I did a bunch of research about what kind of dog that would fit well into my household with temperament, activity level, potential health issues, etc. In the end, I just went with my gut and got a dog that was quite opposite than what I thought I would want. It's been a great decision thus far. He is very loving, loyal and adorable. He hides his rawhide bones (buries them under blankets, under beds, in the couch pillows, etc) - how cute is that!?! He is really smart and tempers how rough he is playing with who he is playing with. He's easier on me than others and even easier around small kids. He likes people and doesn't mind other animals like ducks, birds, cats.. he really, really hates other dogs.

I want to take him to obedience training but I'm concerned that the other dogs will prove to be too much of a distraction for him and thus far haven't figured out or really read any good information on how to address his aggression with other dogs. It's bad. Really bad. Got any tips for me? However, we have had zero issues house training him, he will sit on command (although he won't stay on command), he will come 80% of the time (if there is no other dog around) and he will go into his crate with no issues and stay there without fuss. Haha, the only way he will walk nicely with the leash is if I run him for a good 20-30 minutes first - otherwise he wears himself out pulling so hard on the lead. That and my arm!

With my puppy it's not really a matter of how much he loves it as much a behavior management to go on walks every day. I've noticed that if he doesn't get an opportunity to let out some energy he will get bored.. and get into trouble or be a bit too aggressive in general. If I keep him exercised then he is less likely to bark when he sees/hears dogs outside, less likely to run around the house like a crazy dog and his temperament is just much more calm in general. It has absolutely helped to motivate me to up my fitness routine to include a good 2-5 mile walk/run every day. Some days it isn't possible and he seems content to run on errands in the car with me on those days. I think the big thing for him is just getting out.

The more he's around other dogs, the more he'll adjust to them. I think that's where schooling will help him the most....if the school is a good one, and knows what they're doing.

It's good for both of you to have your 2-5 mile walks. Dogs, as you know, get terribly bored not being able to do what's natural for them. Plus, it's not like your new buddy will let anything bad happen to you while you're out walking. You're safe as money in an old lady's garter.

It really would be a big help. I broke the cam with a timer and it's fairly boring to just take shots that are attainable by holding it.

I might. You up for the position?

You really need to have applications handy. I think you'll have a lot of them to check over to see if there is anyone right for the job. ....I mean, other than me. ;)

I'm sure he does from time to time. Especially after I send him a hot, in the moment shot I have taken with my cell phone. Haha, I know.. mean. He loves it though.
Until such a time as when I'm with someone else exclusively.. it's likely a game we'll keep playing.

For us it just wasn't meant to be. We remain friends. It took some time but really I think that is all we were truly ever meant to be. Didn't hurt to explore more... we just make better friends than partners.

Hum, wondering how I can get on THIS cell listing?

Hiya. I'm great. Enjoying some beautiful weather and getting ready to go shower.

It was truely beautiful yesterday. I pulled the top off the ole Jeep and tooled around topless. .....er, not me, the Jeep.

Considering my ankle behind my neck is my last real memory of the evening.. I'm going to say a lot of them.

I actually love the winter as long as I don't have to drive in it.

Hope you have a great day!

It's silly when it's just two people but really, really fun in a "take me back to middle school before I actually had sex" kind of way when there is a room full.

You definitely have.

I hope you are right but I'm not seeing any evidence of it. He is around other dogs every day when we go for our walk and it hasn't improved. The school I'm looking into always starts new people on the first of the month... when rent is due. Argh! I will hopefully get signed up this month for next month.

I'm really not sure what he would do if he got close to another dog. It worries me. The only time it's happened is when my sisters dog got loose. She has a St. Bernard, who is sweet as pie.. but I think the main problem is that she came strolling up to me and my dog went ballistic and tried to take her on. It all happened so fast I'm not sure if teeth were involved and some how I got stuck with the leash for my dog and the lose chain from her dog wrapped around my legs. Fortunately my sister was able to pull her dog back, I got untangled and pulled my dog away - but man oh man was it scary. The sounds were bad enough, added to them trying to get at each other around me.. haha, more excitement than I wanted that day! I've never seen my pup go that far but I really think it is because the other dog got too close to me and he went on high alert. Comforting but that St Bernard could have bit my doggy in half!

Thank goodness, or this would be awkward. ;)

Hrm, I know I'm often perverse and an example would be that awkward often turns me on.

You really need to have applications handy. I think you'll have a lot of them to check over to see if there is anyone right for the job. ....I mean, other than me. ;)

You're still my first choice ;)

I would imagine it would be as easy as making your number available...

Touching is wonderful.

Another example of my perversity: When I'm getting ready to go on a date that has the potential to get hot and heavy, I have the song from Rocky Horror Picture Show going through my head.

And such great hair too!

It eats fingers!

You should've come by and picked me up!

I pretty near took up this whole page! hahahaha

Wanna gold star?
