On a dare

Using a hat can create some interesting positions. You might be onto something.

Sucking is good for many, many things.

Ooooh, I think between the two of us, we'll have a grand selection of hats to choose from. It really does open up a lot of exciting possibilites.

Sucking, nibbling, licking and kissing, all excellent things.

Haha, I'll have to rely on you to provide hats as I have none!

Show me don't tell me ;)

You are so lucky! It cloudy and cold and has started to rain! At least it is not snow!

I was up around the Great Lakes all weekend and it was the same there. Cold, windy and rainy. Blah. I'm very glad to be home where the sun is shining and I can walk around in shorts comfortably while walking my new puppy!

Yeah, I can provide hats with no problem. Hum, what happened to the fedora in your photo?

I like "show and tell" time, and am quite ready for it.

What kind of puppy do you have?

Sorry, I stole your quote from another thread, but this is exactly why I like you.

I have a photo with a fedora? Really? Must have been a tequila induced night.. which means I have no idea what happened to it! That or you have me confused with someone else.. which would totally kill all those suck up points you earned earlier ;)

Me too. I also like "truth or dare" and "strip poker". Wanna play?

He is some kind of terrier and boxer mix. Might have a wee bit of pit bull as well. Rescued him from the animal shelter. He has some aggression issues with other dogs but is otherwise a really, really awesome pet. The vet has put him at about 6-9 months old.

He is also motivated me to get out there and walk 2-5 miles a day. When one has a dog, one can not put it off because it is cold, one is tired or just doesn't feel like it. LOL

Heh, here is a couple of pics. Sorry, I'm not in them:

I could've swore you had a photo of you and a fedora!?! Oh I know what it must be, it must have been one of my dreams about you. Yeah, that's it. Lord knows that I don't look at any other pic threads, you're my sole purpose for being here.

"Truth or dare" and/or "strip poker" I could be enticed to play. ;)

What a great looking dog! He looks more boxer than anything with the brindle markings and almost short nose. It's great that you rescued him from the shelter. He may always have aggression issues with other dogs, he'll also become very protective of you. That's the boxer in him.

My dogs love to go walking or running with me. They make for great, healthy companions.

Imitation is one of the greatest forms of flattery.

Besides, it's not like I'm stalking you or anything like that. By the way, your livingroom furniture really looks great from the road. :D

How about 'spin the bottle'? We'll need to do something with that empty tequila bottle!

The brindle markings is the first thing that made me notice him. I love his coloring. This is really the first dog that I've owned. I grew up around dogs but it's not the same as owning one. Way more to it than with a cat haha. I did a bunch of research about what kind of dog that would fit well into my household with temperament, activity level, potential health issues, etc. In the end, I just went with my gut and got a dog that was quite opposite than what I thought I would want. It's been a great decision thus far. He is very loving, loyal and adorable. He hides his rawhide bones (buries them under blankets, under beds, in the couch pillows, etc) - how cute is that!?! He is really smart and tempers how rough he is playing with who he is playing with. He's easier on me than others and even easier around small kids. He likes people and doesn't mind other animals like ducks, birds, cats.. he really, really hates other dogs.

I want to take him to obedience training but I'm concerned that the other dogs will prove to be too much of a distraction for him and thus far haven't figured out or really read any good information on how to address his aggression with other dogs. It's bad. Really bad. Got any tips for me? However, we have had zero issues house training him, he will sit on command (although he won't stay on command), he will come 80% of the time (if there is no other dog around) and he will go into his crate with no issues and stay there without fuss. Haha, the only way he will walk nicely with the leash is if I run him for a good 20-30 minutes first - otherwise he wears himself out pulling so hard on the lead. That and my arm!

With my puppy it's not really a matter of how much he loves it as much a behavior management to go on walks every day. I've noticed that if he doesn't get an opportunity to let out some energy he will get bored.. and get into trouble or be a bit too aggressive in general. If I keep him exercised then he is less likely to bark when he sees/hears dogs outside, less likely to run around the house like a crazy dog and his temperament is just much more calm in general. It has absolutely helped to motivate me to up my fitness routine to include a good 2-5 mile walk/run every day. Some days it isn't possible and he seems content to run on errands in the car with me on those days. I think the big thing for him is just getting out.

It's only stalking if the attention is unwelcome ;)

Me thinks that a photographer would be a large help for you. Do you need volunteers?

It really would be a big help. I broke the cam with a timer and it's fairly boring to just take shots that are attainable by holding it.

I might. You up for the position?
