I know this is pretty random, and probably stupid....

But omg it's SNOWING!! :D I'm so happy! I've been missing the sight of snow soo much :)

It's all beautiful outside now.
It's weird though. It never snow this early. Maybe we'll get another snow-"storm" :)

So... Has it started snowing anywhere else in the world? Or are you people still behind :D

hahaha

its been snowing for a bit already up here, though thankfully it hasnt really been sticking

i've never been in the snow.

*sniffle*

Damn CA! It will probably reach the upper 80's today!

All the more reason to move to the midwest. :)

Kewl, L_K. Did it stick to the trees? I love when that happens. It looks mystical to me.

I love the first snowfall. It excites me no different now than compared to when i was a kid. And, when school is cancelled for snow, I think I am usually more excited by that than my kids. Last year, during the last week in November, I recall being very disappointed at being in the hospital for the first snow.

We had a teeny bit of frost on the car windshield here this morning.
It's cold enough at 6am for snow to occur.
Now at 10:11am ... it's 52F.
It could snow as long as the sun is not up.
It hasn't, yet, this season.

Omg.. That's the thing I love most about snow..
When it sticks to the trees, the plants.. everything... I feel like I'm in a fantasy-novel, with trees made of silver. This... Mystical world for me to explore :D
It was even better last year, when it like... REALLY snowed... Everything was covered... some places the snow would be feet tall... other places, as tall as me. It completely transformed the landscape. My usual, boring street, turned into an image from a distant land, far up north... Felt like I was in a different place. it was so beautiful. Man I miss those times.

But anyways... it hasn't snowed THAT much. I can wait for the real snow, though :D I love snowfights and snowmen.

I think I can handle the wait for the inevitable a bit more. But if it makes you happy, yay, I guess. Ha.

Nothing here so far but I always live in hope...I just hope we get more than the little tad last winter, and it happens when I am here and not in Oz sweltering my butt off!!

Catalina :catroar:

Alas...no snow in VA...sniff...sniff...and I doubt I'm gonna get much being where I am...SIGH.

:(............................ oooh!!

I'll send some by mail :D

It snows once or twice a year here, and it might actually stick to the ground once every three or four years. Even then, it's usually gone in a day or two. Which means that every 15 or 20 years when it really unloads over us, the entire region just shuts the fuck down. The last big one was in '93--ice, three feet of snow (which never happens), no power for a week. We're due.

An airtight cooler, some dry ice, and a few ziplock baggies. How much of that yucky white "S" word you want, Nala? Even will ship it for free...lol

It's 76F at 4:00 PM in Charlotte, NC. No snow today. Maybe in February.

No way, it's about 80 degrees here! Sunny, warm and just a hint of a breeze.
