Well it snowed here yesterday, now it's all melted and the backyard is a mud bog! Rain, snow in the winter time makes no diff. The backyard turns to mud. Course in the spring the grass takes off and I have to mow it twice a week.

We try to stay indoors, wrap ourselves in blankets, light candles, drink tea, and we don't go outside unless it's absoulutely necessary.

If DO have to go out, we make sure to wear caps, mittens (NOT gloves!!!), scarves, all made out of wool, because wool absorbs your sweat and keeps you dry and warm all the time, unlike cotton which leaves you wet and cold. And only a moron wears jewellery like piercings or earrings when it's cold outside. The metal freezes quickly, and leads the cold onto your skin, which might cause severe chill damages to your skin.
