They're saying right now that we're gonna get up to two inches of SNOW tonight here!

Of course, the high tomorrow's going to be in the mid-40's, so even if we get it, it won't last, but....

What a concept!

Hate to say this, but I miss the snow. I'd prefer snow to rain. It's been soooo rainy.

Well it snowed here yesterday, now it's all melted and the backyard is a mud bog! Rain, snow in the winter time makes no diff. The backyard turns to mud. Course in the spring the grass takes off and I have to mow it twice a week.

D'oh! Yes, of course! It's a normal reaction. The skin tightens up and everything is perky! :D

Need any survival tips? Us Swedes ARE the experts. It was -20 centigrade last night here. In Fahrenheit, that's something like -4.

HOLY CRAP!

We try to stay indoors, wrap ourselves in blankets, light candles, drink tea, and we don't go outside unless it's absoulutely necessary.

If DO have to go out, we make sure to wear caps, mittens (NOT gloves!!!), scarves, all made out of wool, because wool absorbs your sweat and keeps you dry and warm all the time, unlike cotton which leaves you wet and cold. And only a moron wears jewellery like piercings or earrings when it's cold outside. The metal freezes quickly, and leads the cold onto your skin, which might cause severe chill damages to your skin.
