OMG, and here I thought the comic was on extended hiatus because Reed had been ill (and thought perhaps he had died)...I guess I should've been keeping better tabs on the whole situation, but I had to cut back on a lot of my reading material anyways, so just sort of kept an eye and ear out for new issues and grabbed whatever I came across...

Ahhh. I see what has happened. Ages and ages ago, I had heard that the writer of Omaha was sick and that was why nothing new had been forthcoming. But, having entered into reading Omaha somewhere in the middle of their second big story arc, I'd gotten confused as to who wrote and who drew the book.

Here's hoping to a successful ending to the new pieces they were working on when Kate's cancer flared back up and she died. I will have to make sure my comic shop knows to order me anything they get a solicitation for from their distributor.

I have almost all the issues of Omaha The Cat Dancer (missing maybe two or three). I was really hoping they would get a chance to finish the story. The sex action was great but it was the depth of the characters that I enjoyed.
