I like olive oil as a lube. Much slipperier (is that a word? ) than any of the water-based lubes, but won't eat through condoms or any kind of plastic, silicone, gel, or rubber-based toys.

I've never heard of anything wrong with using olive oil as a lube, except for a few posts up. I've used it as lotion occasionally when there was no other lotion in the house.

I actually prefer spit my #1 favorite LUBE though is Silk Lubricant (and I'll tell you, amazon's price of $13 is about 1/2 or less of what my local store sells it for)

Being 1/2 Sicilian, my grandmothers used olive oil for everything including on my hair (which I still do today), so I wouldn't be surprised if it could be used in sex.

Hmmm... we used it for anal play and sex, after appropriate cleansing, and I don't much care for condoms so they weren't used since there were no pregnancy fears. Never had any issues with the toys we used it with, though - rubber (both soft and {relatively} hard, as in dildos and anal beads), and silicone-based toys.

Well, I guess you don't think food is sexy. Seriously, it's the most natural substance I know of (other than natural human lubricant) that can be used. It works better than KY, but fact that it is an oil-based lubricant makes it not suitable for use with condoms, they say, because condoms are only supposed to be used with water-based lubes like KY.
