Olfactory Arousal

So the weather here has finally improved (at least for the time being) and it's warm enough that I'm sitting here without a shirt.

I rarely have any odor about my body, but I can detect just a little right now... and it started me thinking about our sense of smell and how certain scents can have such powerful effects on us.

My own scent right now makes me feel a little more manly than I usually do. I'm not a "manly" man so it's a nice effect for the moment.

So I pose the question... what smells, if any, turn you on? What smells just make you feel really good, or really sensual?

I have wondered this myself so the responses should be interesting if people are brave enough to answer. I myself have a very heightened sense of smell for a guy, so a woman’s scent is a big thing for me to the point that I generally don’t like it when the woman I'm with wears perfume. Some women can sweat it out all day and even dirty their smell just turns me on immensely, other women can hop out of the shower and three seconds later they smell bad to me.

i'm pretty sensitive to a lot of scents. i get light headed sometimes in perfume departments. for me, i personally just like a fresh, clean smell. i'm not a fan of natural body odor. on guys, i don't mind colognes and whatnot, but just a clean soap smell and their laundry detergent gets me in the mood to cuddle up.

Too much perfume is certainly a turn-off, yeah. If someone can smell what you're wearing before you're close enough to shake hands, you probably need to tone it down a little.

The fresh out of the shower smell is a good one though
