Bit of a long shot as I can't remember much concrete, but there was a long running story I read 5+ years ago that im trying to find. I'll describe it as best I can.
It starts with a college girl recently broken up who gets a ride due to a snow storm and hooks up with a friend. She gets back together with her boyfriend though. The boyfriend cheats with this other girl and - together with the boyfriends scumbag friend - get this new girl hooked on drugs and trapped in their apartment.
The story goes on with the original girl introducing her friend to the guy she hooked up with, and they get together. The girl breaks up with her cheating boyfriend but him and his scumbag friend attack and assault her. They go to jail, and to help her recover her friend pushes her to share the guy she's with. They eventually become a throuple for a bit until the guy introduces her to his cousin and they hit it off.
