I have always liked older guys. Although I am sure young men have alot going for them as well ;)

I am 32 and honestly think that if you have mutual attraction age shouldnt matter.

How true he says, blowing dust from his knarled and withered frame, reaching wistfully across the chasm of time which seperates us.

Thats one heck of a generation gap she thinks to herself.

Well, you know how it is, it's so easy to lose track of time down here in the crypt.

Well dont allow yourself to get buried in the sands of dispair down there..

You may have just allowed the air and light enter in time

It would be much easier to sneka up on you that way..

Sure your dusty heart could handle it?

Heart'd be fine, just go easy on the other bits, no sudden movements. Loud noises are OK they, deaf as a post don't you know.

Thats what makes older men so fun. They dont mind when you tend to scream really loud ;)

I use to date a guy who was about 15 yrs older than me. I don't date him anymore, but we are still pretty good friends.

What say we push the edges of this conversation. I lived with and almost married a younger woman (13 years younger). I probably would not date a 20 somethings because her life experiences would no where near match my own. Where and why do draw you age lines?

HHmm drawing the line.. younger I would want someone with life life experiece as well. It would depend on the person. Some guys are mature at a young age. Where as others are "young" at any age. I would rather have a mature younger guy than an immature older one.

In the same boat. I would love an older man with enough experience to keep things interesting. But not so old we couldnt enjoy each other. Again a definate age would de difficult to give. Some men grow old well before their time while others seem to be young and viral for years.

For the most part a woman in her 20's may lack the life experiences of a older person but counting us out only gives us even less experiences. I like older men for the lessons learned.

Very good point. The biggest draw to an older man is that they can be "teachers". I think thats why some guys like older women.

Your last line written is so true!
As a male I get to see how some friends ( most it seems) are old way before their time while a few of us still seem to be young at heart and living with a zest.
I think alot is outlook and keeping yourself in shape.
I'm not ready to get old and fat

A good attitude and positive outlook on life counts for so much more. Maturity level knows no age grouping.

Older

I have to admit another draw to an older man. They know what they want but are also open to exploring. They are also more willing to take their time. Now dont get me wrong. They are hot and passionate and more than able to prove it (in my experience). But they can live in the moment as well.

OK I need a little advice from you people.
I am a 29 year old Married man (very seperated, but still married). She has a new boyfriend so I was kinda forced to move on. I met a girl 11 years my junior. She seems to be everything I want in a woman, she is self motivated, has a positive out look on life, really beautiful, unafraid, but sexually inexperienced (at least with men). ....but does the age gap really mean anything?

It sounds like two separate issues to me.

You should make a decision about your marriage before you worry about a relationship.

18 is very young in some cases. Only you can decided if the gap is too much. Do you have the same interestes? Is there any common ground? If you cant talk to her as an equal it would be difficult.

Just my take on it.

I know they are two seperate issues. I was just giving some background, have any of the wonderful women of Lit been in any situations like this?

I've dated a guy 15 years older than me. It was nice, the age difference was not an issue. It all depends on maturity levels and your outlook in general.

Thank yu Miss Eggroll. I hope it never turns into an issue, she is kinda mature for a girl her age. If their is anyone else who an shed some light on this situation I'd like their perspective.
