I get the desire for having g the beer but for me it wasnt worth the calories I was using and the reflux I'd have during the sleepless mornings was just too much.

I quit the alcohol and just started walking. Walking about 3 miles a day or about 53 minutes so nothing fast at all. Just the motion of walking has helped so since June 1st it's been close to 50 miles with only 3 or 4 days missed.
