Hi all, been reading the forums for quite a while and have finally decided to sign up. I'm a sub in my 20s embarking on my second (hopefully) long term D/s relationship. My submission is sexual, rather than 24/7 and we are also in an LDR.
My query is, how have other people adjusted to a new Sir/sub (or whatever term you prefer)? Of course I'm obedient and we are learning about each other. My last relationship (which ended a few months ago) lasted for 2yrs so I have a style of submission almost ingrained in me and I'm finding the process of adapting to a new dominant partner as tricky as it is exciting. I didn't realise quite how 'well trained' I was by my last Sir or how consciously and deliberately I would have to listen to and observe my new Sir in order to change.
Has anybody else had this issue? I wouldn't call it a 'problem' at this stage. We do have another teething issue going on. I'm just interested in people's thoughts.
