Old School

I miss...

not having to get up and go to work every day

not paying taxes

my knees

drinking beer with my buddies in an alfalfa field outside of town on a warm june night

driving in to town and going to the dance at the fairgrounds- working up the nerve to ask her to dance...the one I had a crush on all year...

making out to Journey,
Boston,
Fleetwood Mac,
Led Zeppelin,
Van Halen (well, maybe not making out)

all the girls butts in really tight jeans

The first football home night game of the season.

trying to get in my girlfriends panties with my mom and dad watching M.A.S.H. in the next room.

my best friend's little sister (God, she had the greatest tits ever on a fifteen year old).

Kim (my first love)

Hmmmm....

I miss smoking cigarettes with the guys under a streetlight on a summer evening, telling lies about the girls.

I miss playing tag, and running through the hayfield next to my house. I miss my best friend Nikki who moved away when I was 8. Okay, so I'm getting a little sappy. Sue me.

Vaclempt...

Wow, some of these last posts have really made me feel a bit ...not really sad...but just kinda melancholy... Of course I have more things that I miss... ~The feeling of the first day of school, buying new school clothes and supplies and them sitting up the night before school organizing and re-organizing everything... ~Telling the parents I was going out with friends on Friday night to the movies.. but never going to the actual movie, just hanging out being goofy kids.... ~The feeling of a crush.."oh does he like me, what'd he say...etc ~Kick Ass scary movies...Freddy, Jason... ~Bubble Gum flavored lipstick that looked like a HUGE pink chapstick.. ~My grandparents being young and healthy.

I miss "Chopper" bicycles with the three speed gear stick on the top tube and the long motorcycle style seat that you used to give lifts to girls you liked....I miss "Marathons" they call them snickers now and the same with "Opal fruits" which are now called "Starburst"..?..!, I miss making friends from my school days and joking with them and making them choke on their drink's by telling a really good joke just as their about to swallow and then all the drink shoots out their nose....the old TV we had as a kid...you know the ones that were a huge white plastic ball on a stand with the TV set in them....the long hot summer of 1976 when I was 9 and we had water fight's and the ice cream van would sell ice lollies and ice creams to us while we were dripping wet with no shoes on our feet stripped to the waist and calling truce until we finished our lollies and then later on our mum's calling us in for tea (dinner) and telling us to eat it outside cause we were all wet, sitting there on the front doorstep wolfing down our food so we could back out for another round of water fight's...I miss my brother in laws red MG with the suped up engine and being taken to the sea side in it........
