Old School Musicianship… Rock and Roll.. Jazz… Blues… Big Band even…

I wasn’t a big Pearl Jam fan… (I had stopped listening to the radio, because I was tired of hearing trash) but going through one of several of my life crisis’s… this song gave me hope. “I’m still alive!”…. the importance of that simple sentiment still brings tears to my eyes because I found strength in this song, and this sentiment.

Not a big Pearl Jam fan either. But they did write a couple of good songs.

 
Starz - Cherry Baby

Their only Top 40 hit, it got a lot of play on the local stations where I was, but they just couldn't seem to capitalize on it. I like the song, it's a nice, catchy, power pop number.

 
Another one of the those songs that deserves to be LOUD!!! I mean... crazy loud!

...and it's Friday.... and I had a very productive work week.... time to blow off some steam....
