Looks like I missed a bit when I wandered away. I was thinking of going back and responding to different posts, but I changed my mind. I will say this though, Graham's sucks. This last weekend was really busy and after it was all said and done, I'm still tired and sore from all the physical activity, not that kind, but from the 5K walk, bowling and softball. Remind me to not do that much in one weekend again.

T-town reject right here... there's a couple OKC rejects running around. We are all splotted out in different areas of Oklahoma.

We got a fairly new casino and hotel that was built in Catoosa (ten to twenty minute drive from t-town) oh and down around 81st and riverside they build a new casino right by the smoke shop...

I haven't ventured into one as of yet... I have so little money, I'm afraid to lose it.

I know I could make a killing at bingo though! ha ha... j/k

One of these days me and my friends may attempt a venture into one of the casinos.

I got a question for all of us Okies on here... speaking of casinos has anyone played the lotto since it came? Scratch to win? Power ball? I haven't attempt it, I ain't against gambling or nothing, just ain't attempted it yet.... :rolleyes:

We have several casinos around Carter County but I've not ever gone in one.

My office has had a $5 buy-in for Powerball but we at most have won $3 on 3 tickets at once for a grand total of $9, which because we couldnt' split it we reinvested in Powerball. Needless to say we felt like we threw away a great deal of cash. The first time we played we had about 125 tickets. Then we found out our back office had done the same and all together we had over 200.
My key to powerball has been to only play when the pot is over $200million, of course this has not helped or I'd be lying nude on a beach of white sand.

I've not played any scratch offs but two of my co-workers have won $50 each. They each told me they had done better driving the extra 45 minutes to buy some in Texas.

The office scene sounds like a bit of a mess..... odd that they get better luck in Texas... though there's still an ARG! as to them STILL giving there money to other states... thought bringing the money to our state and not others was the one of the points of having the lotto in Oklahoma.... Oh well *sigh*

You have to pool a lot of money together in an office, and believe it or not, write a contract to keep it legal. Thats what the law office did in texas, won a ton of money too, but they all put in like $100 bucks each.

My toe thingy went off without a hitch. Well, I still gotta take care of it and it's still nasty, but it will get better with time. It really doesn't hurt so much, right now anyways.

I went out Wednesday and surprised my DJ up at Pickles... we ended up fucking in the backseat of my car... that was a mess!

He calls me up the next day worried that my parents had been in the car and telling me that i needed to air that shit out, because my car smelled of sex.

I went out Saturday and wound up at Pickles... started at church and ended up at Pickles. I wouldn't dance with no one because of my toe... though I did dance with Louis during "Sexual Healing".

He sang to me and right after they said "you need a sexual healing" Louis goes "you got enough!"

After we finished dancing I saw these other girls mouthing to one and other "that was hot".

At one point he mouthed "more than words" to me... though one other girl thought it was for her... oh well.

We do that at my office too, except we play whenever it gets over $100,000 and since there are only 10 people in our office, we don't end up with as many tickets

You don't have to write a contract, but you really need to trust the person in your office with the tickets if you don't.

MissyGail... you may feel that was the point of having an Oklahoma lottery, but powerball is a multi-state franchise we bought into. The state gets a portion of the money, the franchise gets a portion and then the winner gets a portion and both the two buisness tiers of the lotto have expenses.

The fact it supports education is good, but as a state worker who has basically the same education standards as a teacher and an important role in feeding families, keeping them healthy and safe, we feel a bit jilted that they receive raises more frequently than us even before the lottery. We still make less than teachers and work more hours.

Anyhow its all personal choice and we've only done it two times in our office so far since I started working there in 2005. We include anyone who wants to participate and we keep all original tickets in a big envelope and we all get copies of the originals.

I heard that a group of Missouri social workers recently won, so maybe we can do the same thing.

I wanted the lottery more for the fact that I'm of the view when everyone else is doing and Oklahoma isn't... it's like what's the point, jump on the fucking bandwagon.... It's like Oklahoma and Tattoos, everywhere else tattoos is legal, but not in Oklahoma. I just want Oklahoma to get with the times!

I could even compare it to Cockfighting (kind with birds, not two guys playing with their light sabers) no other state is going to be stupid enough to allow cockfighting, but we had it... it just makes us look behind the times and like a bunch of hick rednecks!

So, Okies still get a proceed of the money no matter where you actually buy your ticket? I don't care why your office goes and gets tickets, all for anyone winning money more so if they need it! I just care about sending Okie money to another state....

Just wanna keep Okie money in Oklahoma... whether it goes to education or whereever!

There is a separate game like Powerball in Texas that isn't... it's only inTexas. That and they have scratch offs in that state that are only Texan. Those are probably the games that they drive to play with. And I agree it is about time that any ass jack that wants a tattoo get one here legally.
