Okay writers, fess up.

Warning...this girl is funny and addictive. She's right on the money though.

She's delightful!

I'm not a real writer then, I shower regularly, eat proper food, don't own a pair of sweat pants, and am not addicted to coffee - that's as far as I got, coz I had to get up and go make coffee...

"Holy crap, why are there so many people alive and existing?!" And why are they alllll boring? Yeah that's me.

How many of these things apply to you?

Only a couple. An unhealthy relationship with coffee! Definitely but I got that waaaaay before I started writing. LOL!

Starvation - nope, not me! The fridge is just round the corner from my desk (our dining room is not for dining - it has three desks, four book cases and a wine cellar in it - it's been "repurposed").

Cute!

I have been grabbed for extended periods, but it has been kept at bay for awhile given stuff.

She's very animated, and the cuts between every sentence are an interesting effect.

And yeah, I relate to some of that. Having a day job might be the only thing that keeps me from relating to more of it.

I may have done one or five of those....

frequently....

Hmmm, a lot of overlap with my RL job.

Antisocial, check.
Laptop as security blanket, check.
Hygiene - my partner keeps me on the straight and narrow.

I'd feel too dorky taking out my laptop at a party, but I do think about it and how nice it would be if I could just...

Only a couple of them here. I'm not an introvert, though. I'm what I like to call a T-molie mobile T-girl. So, hygiene, looks, a bra and my iPhone are essential for me...haha. Now, I will agree with her on one key note - staying awake into the wee hours of the morning to write. That is dead on the money😎

Her videos are great, I've watched most of them. Yes I can sort of relate to 4 or 5 of them, and some of them are getting worse not that it's a bad thing lol.

I have started taking showers more than once a month.

And I do change the sleep pants and t-shirt when I do shower.

Coffee for breakfast, Ramen for lunch, sandwich for dinner, fruit cups as between meal snacks.

It's 2 AM here, and I haven't even started.
I'm wearing gym shorts and have a bag of chips on my desk.
I don't tell people where I live.
So yea, busted.

Ok, most points don't apply to me (half a liter coffee a day is perfectly normal, right?), but I do wear sweat pants a lot during my free time. I don't wear them to work, even though I could get away with it, and I'm proud of that. But I do wear them on dates sometimes  It works out ok, to fellow fags, it seems to communicate "easy access" :D

"Never leave the house" and "live at night" would also apply, but I have a regular job that keeps me on the straight and narrow.

I have taken my laptop to work, so I could write on my commute and during my lunch break

I didn't like the editing; too jerky and distracting and I dropped out early.
I ain't worn a track suit in years so "sweat pants" are out.
But coffee ? Ah, that might tell a different tale. :)

All of you suffer from Millenial Poisoning.

For real writers other people are as interesting as the millions of numbers that weren't LOTTO winners. That is, I have ONE FACEBOOK friend. You? Yout life is a trash bin fulla sxratch off tickets and loser LOTTO slips.

I'm in the same boat as others. The day job keeps me from being nocturnal and the co-workers-Oh, and the wife-would have issue with me not showering.

My wife is generally gone all day Saturday for work and that is the day most apply. I wear karate pants around the house which are as comfortable and loose fitting as sweats. Generally wear a ratty heavy metal t-shirt and drink a pot of coffee while food consists of my 'snack drawer' and whatever the wife tossed in it.

When I write all day I'm on the Little Debbie diet.

I am totally anti social. Even when I go to the dart league if I'm not playing or stuck keeping score I sit at a table by myself and look around and make up plot bunnies for everyone in the bar.

I'm actually driving a truck OTR for a living right now. The hygiene part, yeah but mostly because I don't have a choice. 3 times a week I'm shut down where I don't have a shower.

Coffee? Eh... Sometimes. Two problems with it for me: Hard to find a really good cup of coffee at truck stops and 15 min later I have to whiz. So instead I've gotten into Mio Energy. Black Cherry and Strawberry-Pineapple and occasionally Acai Berry. Keeps me awake and alert, I can drink a 20 oz and not have to stop for a restroom for as much as 4 hours. Best part is I can drink it all day and when I rack out , I go right to sleep.

Introvert, can't leave the house? I DRIVE my house. Not really an introvert but I don't get to talk to people much IRL.

Writing into the wee hours? No. I have to roll at 6AM. Most of my writing gets done sitting in a dock getting loaded or unloaded.

I love this girl. Pretty, energetic, smart as a whip, and right on the money with most of her videos.

None of her 9 points don't (much) apply to me, but she's a hoot...

Oh yes. Bras and pants are definitely optional and being anti-social is a necessity when on a writing binge! Day job interferes with the all-nighters though. Anyone ever called in sick so they could write...you know...when you get to that really good part and you have all these ideas and know you won't be able to be therapeutic anyway...?

Hell, you would think that now that I'm retired that I would be a night owl. While I was working it was always tough for me to get up early or go to bed early.

But, now, I'm in bed by 1am, at the latest, and up by 7am. There have been a few times that my day/nights were turned upside down, but they came back around.

Unhealthy relationship with coffee?

Only one I can think of is not drinking at least a pot a day.

Doesn't apply to me.

I think I've drunk one cup of coffee in my adult life. I just can't get past the taste.

Sleeping hours: yeah, my muse is most active when I'm due for bed. But my day job needs me to be up and awake in the mornings :-/

I've been watching her vids for a while and they're great.

Problem is her writing is not so great. She writes to a formula that she thinks will be successful, which is fine, I guess. But for me, her characters are flat and cliched, and the plot contrived.
