...this book called City of the Dead by an author who calls himself Brian Keene. I'm about 175 pages into it when a new character comes in.

His name is Carson.

And he's gay.

So what I'm wondering is, might Carson have a pseudonym we're unaware of (or a real name, for that matter), or an already published ex-boyfriend or something of that sort?

Inquiring minds and all...

I think most people called Carson are probably gay.

Carson City has a population of 52,457, all of whom are gay, with the possible exception of 3,289 under-five-year-olds, who have not yet been allowed to vote.

See, he's far too practical and I've never seen him wear a pink argyle sweater vest.

 *looks down at clothing....*

not really. it's a t-shirt and boxers as usual

Okay, it must have been an ex-boyfriend, because our right, just and noble gay soldier and defender of the right has been torn to bits by zombie birds in his pursuit of a nobler cause.

R.I.P. Carson the gay guy from City of the Dead

Good books. Gotta love the post-zombapocalyptic fun! And always nice to see another horror fan around here. ;)
