Knowing the people on my unit as I do I know they will be having a party on Sunday, a Pot Luck. Unfortunately for them not a single one of them has had the courtesy to call or E-Mail me about this. (My name, number and E-Mail are on file in work for everyone to see.)

My wife's unit on the other hand mentioned to her last Monday that they were having a Pot Luck. They didn't tell her what to bring, they just asked if i could make something. I was more than agreeable.

I started with several family packs of Chicken Wings. These were trimmed of the tips and then split into winglets. After a thorough rinsing they were seasoned with "Slap Ya Momma: Cajun Seasoning and left to sit in the fridge over night.

This afternoon they were loaded into the smoker set at low heat with plenty of Hickory Chips and water. They smoked Low and Slow for a couple of hours until they looked right. Then the heat was turned up so they could cook to the right temperature and just a bit.

They were allowed to sit in the oven for a bit to cool. (In the oven so the cats didn't decide to sample them.) Now they are packaged in a container and sit in the fridge waiting for Sunday.

I'll have a few of them brought up to me by my wife and I'll sit there enjoying them as my co-workers eat their store bought foods.

You would think they would learn.

That cruel streak is the reason we love ya, Cat.
I, for one, would love for you to come to my pot luck. ;)

Their loss... :D

(Maybe put some of that hot sauce on a toilet seat? Or some other method of revenge? Hehe.)

Whether you put that hot sauce in your co-workers mouths or on their toilet seats, you're wasting it on assholes. :D

LOLOL

That isn't Hot Sauce.

My personal Hot sauce is called "Dragon Sweat" by my father. I make a couple of batches a year and he grabs several bottles each time.

Into a 750 Ml. bottle put:

1/2 cut minced Habenero Peppers
1/2 cup minced Little Bird Peppers. (Also called Thai Peppers.)
1/4 cup minced Garlic
1/4 cup minced Onion
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Sugar

Fill the bottle with white Vinegar and cap. Shake so everything mixes then place in a dark cabinet. Shake the bottle(s) every day to keep things from settling. (My father says this just keeps it pissed off.)

After four to five weeks it's ready to use.

This sounds like something even I could do! Must come to lit for recipes more often! :D

I'm gonna try this when the element in my oven is fixed.
