This "just now" happened......

Background - our organization has been experiencing some "e-mail difficulties." Some of the problem may be us but the train wreck/fire in Baltimore - it has been reported - has most likely taken out some "internet lines" and could possibly effect internet performance on the East Coast.

What happened?

My buddy gets an e-mail - from one address - to - one address - and it's nothing close to his address. Not even close.

It even is a bit - well - sensitive in that it's about a new job and salary etc..

They - our people in Systems - claim that a hacker is fucking around and rerouting e-mail.

What do you guys think?

I often get bizaare emails to from people in my field to people in my field that I do not know. I forward a copy back each direction. This is on aol. I think the header gets corrupted and then parity checked and error corrected to the wrong conclusion.

Wow!!!???

"corrupted and then parity checked and error corrected to the wrong conclusion."

Can you actually articulate this sentence in RL?
