start with a rhyming couplet, then two verses (if you want to break it that way) where the first and third lines rhyme, then finish with a second rhyming couplet that should also rhyme with the opening one.

nothing to say you can't play fast and loose with the rules - it's about getting your writinginess firing.

a rose is a rose, though in neon - too bull
it's friday am! Angie, ishtat the time?
now it's better in bronze, so erotic it pulls
like champagne so gold, or a try(i)st in the dark
