You've been warned :)

Okay - I'm getting feedback on my first submission both in Public comments and private email.

I don't mean to sound like a total knob here - but when you receive good feedback, do you send a thank you?

Is it impolite not to respond?

Okay...I'm Canadian....I must remain inoffensive at all times :)

If they leave a means to reply, whether by posting a comment while logged in, or by putting an email addy in a private feedback, I always respond.

I know it's kind of frustrating to me when I send feedback telling someone how much I liked their story and then don't hear anything back, so I always reply when the means to do so exist.

I agree with Darkniciad, with a caveat. I'd suggest responding on the boards or via PM rather than using your e-mail address. Most of the people at Lit are righteous souls, but every group gets a quota of jerks that you probably don't want to find you.

BTW, complements on "My Older Man" are well-deserved. It's an excellent story, especially for a first effort.
