My throat has that tingle at the back of it... My nose is only half breathing and my back is aching... I have a cold coming on!!

Yes, that's right. It's friday in then morning and I have a busy weekend ahead.... typical.... plan a busy weekend and then come down with a cold.....

Why have they not come up with a instant cure for the comman cold yet????????

Have you heard of Emer'gen-C? It's a powder that comes in little packets...when mixed with water makes a fizzy drink full of vitamin C and other good stuff. Rumor has it that if you take this stuff as soon as you feel a cold coming on it stops it in it's tracks. I rarely catch colds....but I do take Emer'gen-C everyday.

Another thing that you might try is using nasal spray at the first signs of a cold. A doctor actually told me about this. He said that it can stop the cold from settling in your nasal passages.
