OK. That was scary.

hehe....Remind me to never go to a movie with you (at least one you've already seen before). Did you miss the part where several people said they still want to see this for the first time? :)

You're right, there were several things that were pretty much impossible (which for a "realistic" movie does some significant damage).

Anyone that doesn't want it spoiled shouldn't have read past the first post. That was what I did.

Very interesting, although you can kind of guess how it will end if you pay attention to the beginning. You just don't know when things will happen to facilitate that in what ways.

I would now like to see it from the "real movie" point of view. See how the military and scientists combated it, and if we won or not. I doubt that would be as good and interesting a movie, but it would be a different angle on the idea of a sequel, telling the same story from a different point of view and expanding ont he information given.

I don't think I'd pay the exobitant price of a movie ticket to see a sequel no matter how it was made. The whole thing was really disappointing to me, almost like the movie Jumpers. I waited and waited to see that movie and then almost fell asleep in it.

I think we get it already. You didn't like it. You can stop telling us that now.

If you followed the viral marketing campaign, they gave plenty of warning that it was going to be a "found video" movie. There were still a lot of people disappointed, either because of the ending, or the lack of focus on the creature. To me, that was the cool part, but I would have liked to know more as well (perhaps a scene of two people walking down the hall, discussing theories after watching the video?). There has been a suggestion that the sequel would cover the same event (or overlap it) from a different perspective. The problem is scope. They were barely able to come in at $40 million with minimal shots of the creature, so to make an all-out monster movie would easily double that (or triple it). I doubt they're going to get that kind of backing, especially if it covers the same events (when a bunch of the audience already disliked it, so would be less likely to see the sequel). This thing was successful, but not in the way the American Godzilla movie was (despite that one being a critical joke). Without the huge numbers, I doubt we'll get to see a big-money sequel.

Oh, I know it is unlikely. It's just something that I dream about, and hope against hope for

Strangely interesting movie.

I hated the handy cam thing in Blair Witch but in this movie it worked.

For what it was it was a good movie. Not a blockbuster kind of movie but fun to watch.
