1) Click on the user's profile

2) Click on "add peachykeen/kidthor to your ignore list".

3) Sit back. Relax. The offenders posts will say the ignore blahblah thing, but any threads they start will be totally invisible.

ah cool. so in fact I don't actually have to do anything other than what I've already done, and that explains why I got to come back from my trip and it's as though certain individuals have magically disappeared altogether! excellent.
