Two weeks of sun and summertime bliss. Two weeks of not having to think about anything. Two weeks of fishing, sailing a deep blue sea, sitting on a rock and watching the horizon. Two weeks of mouthwash for the soul.

But also two weeks of not knowing what the hell you guys have been up to. What's the news, folks?

Haven't been paying attention. Can't help you. ;)

Welcome back, Liar. Sounds like you had a good time.

Let's see, alot, actually.

1. amicus has moved to Oregon, gone to work for a Labor Union, and become a liberal.

2. Cloudy is back online.

3. A prominent Litster is logging in from public libraries while a fugitive from justice for killing a one armed man she found standing over the dead body of her lover.

4. Honey and the only other straight woman on AH, moved in together.

5. We found out Shang really is a horse, a very, very smart one.

6. Turns out Ogg is Prince Phillip.

One of these things is true.

Well...hmm.
Ari's laptop got repossessed (I'm on the boyfriend's whenever he's sleeping or at work since I do neither of those) so everything has been on hold.

I'm doing the 30 poems in 30 days challenge - yay me.

Good to know you've returned safely from your trip.

It's the yearly unplug-and-reset vacation. It's what keeps the aardvarks in my head manageable the rest of the year.

Same old shit... Actually, that's a sore point at the moment

Good to have you back, Liar! I missed you

I've just returned from a 2 month block...yes, I get that sort of thing more than I get creative stamina.

Welcome back, Liar! :)

I'm also doing the 2-week vacation in paradise thing, and I've used that time to swim and write and bug everybody at the forum. It was time well spent. ;)

Liar of the sexy yet mysterious card photo!  Glad you are back.

ABG and I went to San Diego and met Belegon and 3113 and you didn't get to read all the silliness or see the pictures -- you'll have to go back into the threads to find all the goodness :)

You have aardvarks? Envious. Best I can do is armadillos, with the occasional porcupine wandering through.

The porcupines are very uncomfortable, by the way. ;)

Well, Liar was gone for a couple weeks, as in really absent from the AH, not just out of it, this time. No one seemed to notice except everyone kept asking about his aardvarks.

Rumple Foreskin

ps: Number five is not (I say again, not) true. I have it on good authority that when it comes to horse sense, Shang is just slightly smarter than the average horse. rf

I fell so much in love with life in Milwaukee while on vacation that me and kids (and ex) are planning a move there in the next month.

Good to see you back Liar!

Send the porcupines to me. I can make quill baskets. :D

That's a lil piece of paper from the British gov't saying I can go to the UK to join Mat in a civil union giving me the same legal rights (including the most important ones right now - immigration & residency) as I would have if we were a straight married couple.

:nana:  :nana:  :nana:

Well then, I repeat: Wheeeeeeee! :nana:

Odd migrating pattern for a goose though. Usually it's north-south, not west-east. :)

Congratulations to both of you.

I am pleased that the British government recognised the value of allowing a gosling into the UK to stay.

Welcome to warm beer and cups of tea anytime...

Og
