Ok, here is what I got for a late Bday present

One old beat up resonator guitar. So now I have to re-learn all my (few) slide chops. But at least I have an acoustic guitar now. YAY!

Im not really very happy here. Its not Chicago per se. Its that I have no lfe what so ever and dont know where to find one. Im gonna keep trying though.

It's going to take you some time to make a place for yourself any time you relocate. I know it can be lonesome. Don't make the mistake of waiting for it to come to you. It's a great city - get out in it!

I made a resolution to go downtown one day a week and just look around. It would be nice if I knew where to go and how to get there though. Oh well...

I've traveled around, and Chicago is one of the most sprawling cities I visited. It's huge! It was a little intimidating but there is so much there for you.

When and if you've spent too much time in your own head, you can always come here. Still, one friend and you've got it made. You'll get there.

And it is except for the re-writes I am doing to make it more slide friendly. I suck at slide but am getting better.
