Hey,betabrad. Couple of things:I confess, I have the same problem. In order to keep my cock hard it takes the constant stroking, or else I start going soft. The blood just doesn't stay trapped in my penis. I've seen the Dr and I've tried the pills but it only had a small affect.
I still enjoy masturbating to my kinky/bi fantasies tho.
I do , however, wonder if i'll be able to have a loving relationship with a woman if I cant perform sexually. Even in my younger days I've only been able to last about 30 seconds so I was never able good in bed anyway. I still think I have some good qualities and have love to offer a woman, just not in bed. I am open to having an open relationship tho, and I have a lot of bi/cuckold fantasies ( just no abuse and no real humiliation) that turn me on anyway.
I also wonder if there are women in a loving relationship with a man who has problems with E.D , and how they deal with it. I would love to hear about it.
I know a lot of people swear by the ED pills. Even I used to feel that way. However, do be very carefulll about taking them. I seldom took a whole pill, but I wanted to take the full dossage. It was a bad thing for me. I ended up with ringing in the ear (tinnitus). Do pay attention to the to the warnings that you see/hear even on the TV commercials --- erections lasting more than 4 hours, changes in vision and hearing. My doctor guessed that perhaps my problem was that being on the brink of diabetes, capillaries probably aren't working the best, and drugs like ED pills do affect your blood pressure.
I would love to have a firm erection, but as much as I love penetrating men I don't want to be a burden to anybody by loosing more of my hearing, or possible vission issues. I would suggest anybody trying them, to perhaps try half a pill. If you have circulation problems, pre-diabetic, or fully diabetic, think twice.
I too use toys and fingers on my partner. I know he would prefer my cock, but seldom can do it. I'll start to get kind of hard, then by the time I get in place, It softens up a bit. Even masturbation can be a problem as whipping a semi-erect penis simply is not as nice as whipping it when fully hard. I'm just thankful that I'm in a meaningful relationship. If I was on my own where sex was all there was, I would be a piss poor choice for a partner. That is what sucks for tops like me as I age. Being a top isn't about just getting off, but the joy and privilege of being inside another man. ED simply makes you realize never to take for granted that we as men are not perfect --we have our struggles.
Bottom men on the other hand simply get better with age. Even if they have erection problems, they are still wonderful partners. Some look down on them, but the fact is the world would be a lot happier and peaceful place with more of them.

I would suggest getting your testosterone checked as an option. Low T causes so many issues with libido and erections. Low T also causes low mood and lack of energy, anxiety, etc..There is a laundry list of problems that come along with Low T. And if your dr. Says your T is within range, do your own research. Total testosterone levels below 500 can possibly be making you feel bad as well as making your erections difficult to achieve. Total testosterone above 800 is where most people feel great and get that wonderful sex drive. You can use gels, injections, and even bio identical pellets to get your levels higher. Just my two cents
I'm retirement age and have ED likely caused by BPH meds. I've tried both Viagra and Cialis. Have to say that daily Cialis is good stuff, but my HMO won't pay for it and, at $400 a month, I can't. So, I use generic Viagra. It helps but it's no miracle drug. Maybe I should try some of the over the counter stuff mentioned above. I'll keep you posted.
You're right. Most anti-hypertensive drugs can cause poopouts. Don't stop taking those meds just try dick meds. High blood pressure can cause EDFirst if you are taking meds perhaps the meds are causing your problem. Ask your Doctor.
Second and most important. Just from my point of view. If I was your partner in a M to M couple I would Lust love having you not bone hard. Kissing and fondling a semi hard is so nice and Having you in my mouth would be divine.
It sounds as if you still climax and Honey That is all I care about You climaxing
