Guilty on all charges, he got a 15 years. Eligible for parole after six, it looks like.

Yeah. Judge said it wasn't in retribution for the murders he got away with, but I have to think 15 years for waving a pistol at some dudes selling sports memorabilia is kind of harsh. I'm no fan of OJ by any means and he should be doing life for the murders, but he got screwed on this one.

I'm not sure about that because his co-defendent was given the same amount of time for the same crimes. Plus he could have been given a lot more time. Many of the sentences run concurrently for both men.

Yeah, Judge says. The jury says he is guilty for something, so justice is served. Fair trial? Maybe. Maybe not.

Now they're saying parole eligible after nine years. And the parole board can take into account his previous trial, attitude and arrogance, etc.

Narcissistic, antisocial types also cry when pinned to the mat.

One of the jurors was quoted as saying he thinks O.J. should have been in prison for the past 13 years. This will be one of the grounds for appeal. I also heard a lawyer on CNN say his sentence is a max. of 33 years, with eligibility for parole after 9. That's if his sentence isn't reduced on appeal.

To help yall out...
The sentencing years were 'high' because using a gun in the state of NV makes the crime an aggravated crime. The judge repeatedly stated that because a gun was brought in AT ALL meant that the possibility for a worse crime or more damage was imminent and possible, which is all that is needed to make it an aggravated crime. And... these were not misdemeanor chargers that he was convicted of... there were 12 FELONY counts. He could have been sentenced to 3 lifetime sentences... because three of them held the possibility of that long of a sentence.
