Surely mankind is one of the same, just very sophistocated (sp) versions. But does that give a right to pillage everywhere.

When our supposed intelligence has given birth to science that currently screams warnings on such issues.

BTW history shows that these issues are not restricted in their consequences by national boundries. Chernoble, European acid rain, to name but a few.

And answers like that are based on either ignorance or a myopic veiw.

Here's a sample of the kind of "intelligence" you endorse. Houses burn down in a brush fire because saving the houses would require some "endangered" rodent's habitat that was in the process of being scorched.
