Hi sorry, I get so excited, that I often forget to break up my thoughts into topics and paragraphs! JAWS will read a blank where I must put in an enter line between one thought and another new, unrelated one. I definitely need a lesson in paragraphing when I do get into my writting arangements. I suspect my Stellor Zephyrians is just that: a long block of ramblings without any breaks, except where there is dialogue and I'm not sure I'm even doing that right. I did a few poetry submissions in Highschool that did get good teacher comments though.

I do that too, but it's easier for me to go back over it and break it up if I need to. I guess you're used to making accommodations to fit into a mostly seeing world, I can't even imagine how complicated a forum must be to you! Good Luck following the conversations here, they can get pretty active <grin>

Just a note to all the people out there that aren't Jaws Savvy:

People who have this particular screen reading software generally don't use thier mouse. ( if they are completley blind that is), and dont use a CCTV (closed circut Tele...) to magnify the text to ginormous porportions.

We use commands. to put into perspective: Imagine having to press 3 or 4 buttons at the same time just to get 1 function. Control Alt Delete any one? SO ontop of trying to figure out the computer, we get certified in hand gymnastics.

Thankx Ms Read. That's what I MEANT by Curt's Magic Mouse too! Yes, I'M completely blind. i "SEE" A BLANK GREY WHITE OR BLACK SCREEN WHERE MY FIELD OF VISION USED TO BE. i'VE SORTA WONDERED IF THIS IS BAROMETRIC PRESSURE OR something else. It could be PRESSURES AFFECTING MYnerves behind remaining eye and the optic nerv (Other eye is a cosmetic prosthetic that is painted to match the remaining eye) (please excuse caps locks, sometimes JAWS scrambles the tone that indicates upper & lower case!) i REGISTER NO LIGHT OR DARK AT ALL. Just for some "insight?" Getting someone to sighted guide me on their arm is like lightspeed travel to get whereever I want to go! Samething with the mouse, much less effort to get there! I just don't like it because I like to think of all the things that are around me in my mind's eye as I'm going! It makes me feel a little more independant!
I have movie screen action with my imagination, so I see in my mind what Iread and try to imagine what I hear going on around me. I also like described pics in full detail of lithe slender athletic men. Sorry, I'm totally hetro not that I have any problemswith girlfriends and male friends, which Ihave that are lesbian or gay. I have sampled it and found my reaction to F F encounter not comfortable, this happened in my sighted life before I turned 25. I was on the streets for a while under an addict BF! and had to work the streets.
Yes, I'm very dexterous, I do a lot of macreme and other hand crafting. With my demand for perfection I insist on colour co-ordination though which makes it painstaking and requires real good memery when I do my seed-beading jewelry!I have to demand Curt's inspection to make sure everything is exactly patterened as I have memorized out of tactily marked contaners!D owe have a pic forum here on Lit that I can show you guys some of my work? Ij'd have to get Curt to take the digit pics. and put them on, I can't remember the keystrok steps to do it myself.

Hi More_so? Quesla here: I have always found First Person stories hard to get into. I However found your main character quite self conflicting, and therefore much more engaging. I am very CURIOUS! of Anne? It'll keep me hooked. Yes, I agree that telepathic connections will indeed affect and even sometimes spread a power loop to others in recieving distance. I had always believed that a narrow channel could be established between two minds communicating with each other alone without others nearby being included in the direct link. However, Emotions are a much broader wavelength and can affect the entire group in a communityy that lives and interacts/functions/survives together. My pod society is very emotionally affected by emotional disturbances of a single or small group or couple of individuals that are in conflict., That is why our Kassaver and Avars have to be especially empathic and have the faith of the people as a whole. Generally, an isolated Zephyrian cannot survive alone. They would die alone without the group interaction of the community.

I'm sorry, Crimson maiden & Christo? something, sorry can't remember unless I click out of my edit field and loose my place to hear your call name again or space over your spelling. I am TRULY! SORRY! if I'm dredging up old and hurting memories. I'm trying to get help learning to read the meanings of the numbers labelled links and why some functions do not even show up on my JAWS voice program! I've been getting my sighted hubby to try to help me, but he does not read very well and obscure examples like protagonist and obscure are too hard for him even to pronounch much less pronounce! I just wish that I knew how to kestroke to get JAWS to read the missing things that I don't hear on the screen. btw: I don't even use the screen when Curt is not home! just the speakers!

That simply means that you get automatic upgrades as the come available with proof of your JAWS registration number. I can't remember howmany upgrade releases you get on the Maintenance agreement. There are also links to helpful e-mail lists for answers to useage probmlems from other longtime users who have figured theem out.Henter-joice is also part of a triad of adaptive technology companies called Freedomscientific. Ive been shopping around for a new computer for us. I'm sorry i havent been on here so long but my hubby and I are having some issues, and there may be possible seperation in the future...I am pushing on through and just may get the jaws for myself. I love that program. Hope all is well for you. Talk to you soon. I will be popping in more frequently now that i have some stuff sorted out.

As for a computer I am looking at an HP or dell from Bestbuy. Laptop or desktop?
I have had this hp for almost 10 years. I like it but its getting to old and not alot of memory. I want to be able to travel with my pc so I am leaning with a laptop. But.... then you sacrifice memory.... what to do what to do?

On the bright side, i have made headway with my writing. have ytou submitted anything to lit yet?

Huh??? My message cut off half way through the post cutting out the first half of what I said? Oh well! Just wanted to let you know I'm back and I've got an MSN contact now. I'll need someone to help me test to "see" if JAWS is speaking the prompts and allows me to move between the incoming message frame and the type response frame. It'd be much more personal. I also remember MSN having a voice conference and one on one feature? It's not set up this way as I remember it now. At least JAWS isn't saying so? I really hope it works for me & JAWS to speak it. If JAWS does not speak the prompts or go through the two frames, then I'll try to go to pm to answer you or whoever else tries it and let them know where JAWS or the MSN screen is causing me trouble. Hi Ms. Read! If it is anything like what I was/is? still going through with Curt, overwieght hairy hubby, Then I know what you're going through! By the sounds? of it? Hubby has no motivation to participate in Is it lack of physical activity motivation? ;lack of creative project and constructive interest motivation? Lack of interest in educating himself? My hubby has been given, (by me) with his finances, since I have no finances as an unemployed without any welfare support due to what they do to Curt because of him making any income and therefore getting punished because he makes a minimum wage and at least tries to be a working instead of welfare bum. But when he's at home after work or on weekends, (weds & Thursdays) he only wants to drive around and gaze at shopping , window for things that his poor wage won't let him have, and sitting around watching T.V. and snacking! He also goes on line but it is not usually for research on knoweledgeable subjects other than for luxuries that we cannot afford. He wants motorcycle, more parrots pet more dog, pet excetra? But he does not go downstairs and play around with the scroll saw I let him spurge on or play with the wood acheap lumber we have scraps of to carpenter up some creative projects like the artful scroll carvings that he has seen at exihibitions or on line? I've let him get power saws circlular hand corded or battery type, a recent compound miter saw, and keep hoping he'll get creative and yet he puts the tools away downstairs and comes up and watches T.V.! AND snacks. With such an inactive lifestyle, no wonder he's so big of belly and to jelly like to rub against or try to get sexual with. He also does not have any stamina and wants to fuck, and since It's not so enjoyeable for me, He takes forwever to get of and let me go my way so he will fall asleep and leave me alone or come back down to the T.V.! If this is the type of trouble that is bothering you with your hubby, now excitment and hobbys to keep both of us active and healthy, then I won't bemone for you your need to leave him. It has DEFINITELY! been a thought on my mind, but , but for me, I might not be able to re-situate anywhere except an institution facility which will limit my hobbys and the two pets I am attached to that I won't leav: One crippled white cockatoo and a female Pit bull mix that is a cuddle bug! These creatures likely can't come to live with me in a disability facility and I certainly can't do my wine/Mead and beer and stuff hobbys in disabled home. The medical personal would have a fit! And It isn't like I abuse the produccts I create, I do once in a while let my haair down. That amongst other matters is why I haven't started detailed plans to resituate away from Curt. *Sigh!* I'd LOVE! to feel him making lovely creative art wooodwork and functional garden frames or other projects! I've don everything I can to try to encourage him.I myself won't give up my projects like the brewing , gardening, and small wood block crafts woven into macreme for my baby, Oriole, the crippled legged Citron Cockatoo! Ive always got ideas and blue prints going on in my mind that I want to create and yet need some sighted help in power tool wood cuts and stuff. Do you"see" where I'm going with this? I do hope that you find light and hope in a partner that will encourage and take part in your hobbies and crafts or other interests like hiking, camping or whatever else you might LOVE so passionately to do! I had sorta hoped that your hubby would've come online on the Lit site and talked and kidded with us.
