Michigan here too....closer to Lake Michigan than Gilly is, and yes we get the Lake effect here...lets see, just two weeks ago...two inches of snow in three hours...hows that for an effect??

Yup yup!

And we still havn't gotten any snow here. Well, it snowed at that same time, but it looked more like dust flying, then snow. It never stuck once it was on the ground. I mean, it wasn't even visable once it hit the ground!

i also forgot to mention quality....wet n sticky is much preferred to dry....and if u are lucky maybe there will be blpwing and a little drifting as well....we are talking about snow...correct

Well, after watching the Bears/Browns game, I think I'd better think again.....lol

Did you watch any of that game? The Browns looked pretty good, except during the last 30 seconds. lol They looked pretty terrible after that.

I had completely forgotten that the Bears are the come from behind team this year. They like to wait until the 4th quarter to make their run.

I had the misfortune of attending Ohio State my first year of college when Woodrow Hayes was still coaching-if that doesn't turn you off to Ohio State, nothing will. I had a free pass that year to the Michigan/Ohio State game. To show my displeasure, I sold it for five bucks. Well, actually, I needed some beer money, but Hayes used to put armed guards on top of the stadium that year(probably others) while they got ready for Michigan. So...hate the Bucks!

Snow IS good. When laying in front of a fire, with no kids, in a clean house, and no baby belly, and the snow is drifting down nice and slow, and there are candles, and wine, and.... -sighs- Perfect.

In reality...

Shoveling snow, driving in it, making it grey, mushy, and gross, having dogs pee in it, having teenagers throw it at you, having to do hats, mittens, boots, snow suits, etc...

-sighs- I hate snow.
